This pen works well to let you know that your mat is conducting as you would like for it to work. It is very easy, simply touch the double prongs directly to the mat and the top of the pen will light up. You may have to remove a cover off the double prong but after using the pen it is easy to slide the cover over the prong to put it away for the next time.

I love my grounding sheets. They are one of the best investments in the pen I have made lately thank you Amazon.

Love this tool! It works just as I wanted it to and I was completely satisfied. The connection for my grounding mat seemed to be working but I couldn’t validate that the mat was truly working until I got this tool and it functions just as I thought it would. The quality is amazing, it lights up right away and validates the electricity emitting from the mat. It’s well worth the value for the money I spent.

It's impossible to know if your grounding/earthing pad is working without one of these handy pens. So, I got one just to be sure and it gave me the peace of mind of knowing my investment in the grounding pad was legit. Not sure what other applications this might be appropriate for, but definitely worked for me.

Thank you. The pen worked very well. Not at the beginning,, but with persistence it started to work. Disappointing results with my grounding mat, though. I have not felt any effects after using it for several weeks.

it works at assessing conductive materials, which means if they conduct, the pen will light up even if not connected to the grounding port. But this won't tell you if the outlet you are plugged into is grounded. so again I have to buy another device for this purpose.
