Good bit of a kit works brilliant, helpful when you do a van conversion

I have the trend scribe which is great for floor to skirting etc. I wanted something better than the needle push shaped jig. Not used it yet but bring a master cabinet maker I can see this will do The job Reviews saying cannot see if it’s level etc 🤔 it’s down to skill. If your skill level is not as required then use another simple method I work to 1/2 mm so this I feel is good for the way I work Products are purchased on here and then the ratings fly in when they cannot do what they think should happen. I think good prices for a good product No need for other material to be made We have advanced from things Made of wood and metal 😳

Been a joiner over 40 years always used a block of wood for scribing but times change ,thought I would give it a go ,very good idea and easy to adjust very accurate particularly on complicated mouldings happy with my purchase

Professional joiner here. It's a good tool and certainly better than the options without a specific tool (washer and pencil, compass etc). I would agree with everyone here and say, the item is definitely overpriced for what it is and what it is made from. I suppose you are paying partly as part of a captive market, given there aren't a whole lot of options out there. This has definitely helped me scribe decor panels to stone walls nicely!

This is an ok item, at £30 it is very over priced. I am a professional joiner and thought this is idea, it is but it isn’t. Unfortunately for all the things you need it for it is generally not long enough and therefor can be used. Overall it’s ok tho and at the right times works well

The tool is as described with some nice features such as the knife edge, ability to act as a compass and roller bearing. It's about the length of a pen, which maybe an issue in tighter spots. If the main body came in 2 sections (or more) so that the length could be reduced for tighter spaces it would be perfect.

I'm a contractor and repair man. This nifty little item can help speed up your work. Usually you'd fit a place of flooring, draw a rough shape for a complex cut and redo the cut a few times - with this you get the where to cut line once. Works on tile, hardwood and laminate flooring. Seriously helps get done more in a lot less time

I got this to scribe boards against an uneven concrete floor. But before I got to do that, this nifty little tool proved itself useful in ways I hadn't thought of before. One was to give me a level gauge to use with a laser level, to find a level contour on an uneven floor. The shiny brass wheel-nut that tightens the pencil clamp also does a great job reflecting laser level light. So I adjusted the height of the nut to match the laser, then ran the tool over the floor in various places, riding along on its skate wheels until I found a spot with matching depth, marked it, then moved over, repeat, until I had a contour line. Of course, you can also use this to scribe boards. The hardware parts are all good quality and the plastic the thing is made of seems robust, durable, and well molded. The height adjustment works smoothly at the touch of a finger, yet holds firm through use (this is the essential function of the device). I paid 2x or so what I could have paid for one of the cheap Chinese knockoff versions of this thing that Amazon also sells, but I feel good about the quality I got and am happy to reward the people who created this clever design.
