The insert is very well made, super soft and great looking. It really is reversible. My only knock is I would have liked to see a deeper pocket for more pronounced head support. It does provide some but for a newborn wanted a little more.

This car seat insert is designed to build up the seat so that a newborn or premie can fit correctly into the car seat. When they are so tiny, they need extra head support. This set also includes extra padding for the car seat strap going across their tiny shoulders as well as the y attachment between the legs. The padded insert has slits built into the design to allow the straps and buckles to pass through normally and safely.The quality of this set from BOMOLOUR is very good. The side with the cat is velvety soft and the other side is a bit more of a vented waffle weave. The pads for shoulder straps include Velcro and are reversible. The y connector is padded and well made. The halo area has extra padding to for extra support since the neck muscles aren't strong enough to combat the bumps and dips that happen during a car drive.I am very pleased with this set. The price at the time of this review is $26.99. Initially I thought this was slightly high. Then I realized that the ones I was comparing this to, did not include the extra padded shoulder straps and y connector. In my opinion, if the child needs the extra padding underneath, they need it in the front too. When thinking of it in this way, I found the price to be quite reasonable. My rating is 5 Stars. I hope my thoughts and photos help someone.

Love this infant head support. So super soft and has great padding. Has a super cute print on both sides and I just love that this is reversible. Works great in both our bouncy seat and stroller. Nice support in the stroller when using either laying or in the sitting up position. Very pleased with the materials and quality of this for such a great priced. Very pleased and highly recommend!

We had a preemie baby that only weighed 5 pounds. After spending 11 weeks in the NICU we were blessed to finally bring him home. Not sure how it works in other hospitals or states but here in Chicago the hospital wouldn’t let him leave after completing his 90-minute car seat test. This test consists of the nursing team having him sit in his car seat for 90 minutes ensuring that his oxygen levels don’t drop. They’re so little that they’re heads bob down cutting off airflow. While he passed with flying colors he still looked and bobbed around like a ragdoll on the ride home. Luckily mom was in the backseat holding his head up after every turn lol.Still, I’m very glad that I found this shortly after bringing him home. While we don’t expect to take him out for multiple car rides anytime soon at least it will be a better car ride for the upcoming doctor visits. It’s going to be a while before he can fit “ok” in his car seat as he is tiny. This was a life saver and so helpful when we set it up for him. It provides the snug room between his neck and head for support for the occasional drives we will have to do as he grows into his infant car seat.This is a perfect use if you have a baby on the smaller side and for $27 bucks you can’t put a price on their comfort (and your peace of mind). This way you don’t have to roll or jimmy rig covers to put on each side or have mom keep propping his head up.

This car seat insert has a beautiful reversible floral design. It is very girly looking and appealing looking. It was easy to insert into my car seat and I like that I can take it out easily to maintain and clean it in the washing machine.

This Infant Car Seat Insert is very supportive. When my baby girl is sleeping in her car seat, swing, or stroller she has very little head and neck control. This keeps her head and neck aligned well. I absolutely love that it has a double sided design so that if we have a spill or stain on one side, I can turn it over to the clean side until I can wash it. It is so soft. The stitching is impeccable and it looks like it is made from premium materials.Besides her car seat, I have used it in her swing and her stroller too. I washed this insert to test it in the washing machine in cold water. I dried it in the dryer on low. It performed well with no pilling, no loose threads, or fading. I am very pleased with it. I highly recommend it.
