Have always stuck to the same brand of mason jars and now the replacement lids I use on the jars also happen to fit nicely on a couple of sets of sprouting jars I use, so that makes the soaking phase of the sprouting process easier and free from risk of spillage, by using the Ball lids. Have always used Ball jars for soaking wild rice prior to cooking, as well as chickpeas and quinoa, before I discovered the benefits of sprouting them. These jars are perfect for storage, easy to clean and with replaceable lids, they should last a lifetime. These 1000ml jars can soak up to a cup and a half of chickpeas. They are sturdy, with measuring scales in metric and imperial units marked on two sides.

I’ve had quite a few of these jars and they were fine. This latest batch were not such good quality, some had scratches on the glass, and the outer seal lids were all slightly dented. Luckily I have loads of spare lids! Considering the very long shipping time now, I don’t think I will be buying them again this way.

El producto es excelente, es de 64 oz boca ancha. Yo lo compre para colocarle un escurridor para germinado, de boca ancha y le quedo perfecto! Menciono esto porque compre de otra marca y apezar de ser boca ancha no le quedo mi escurridor. En México esta agotado este producto, pero los contacte y me atendieron a la perfeccción. y lo compre por este medio enviándomelo desde EUA. Y como siempre me dan una fecha de entrega y me sorprenden entregándomelo antes.

I am a mason jar girlie. My favorites are always Ball & “Moms” mason jars. I love how thick the glass is so they hold up well and generally last forever, they’re easy to clean and Ball is the queen of mason jars. They hold up well when it comes to leaking and as usual, no issues.

I wanted mason jars for food and juice storage and was concerned about inconsistencies with China made glass including that it may contain lad or cadmium. So glad I found these USA made glass mason jars. The quality on them is amazing. They are made of thick glass and have millilitre measurements on one and ounce & cup measurements on the other side. The lids are fantastic too.

I use this as part of my cold brew set, and when one is full I swap put the filter onto the other. Perfect!
