Great choice for the Yi Dash Cam
I bought this for the Yi Dash Cam ... to replace the stock mounted with does not have a suction cup (sticker only). This worked great, you do need to clean the glass well before attaching it ... but I've only had it fall off once ... and since cleaning it first (as I should have) ... its been rock solid. I prefer this to the suction cup mount everyone normally gets for the Yi. This one is a little more sleek and the mechanism to latch closed the suction cup is nicer, and conforms the the circular shape better. Overall, this is a little smaller than the other, so worth the extra $2 that it costs.

Great item at a great price.
I have had my Transcend Dash Cam for over 2 years now and suction cup was no longer holding. The replacement is just what I needed. I remove my dash cam whenever I park the car in the sun for a few hours, so the camera doesn't get baked, and the suction cup mount gets a lot of use. I also drive in Florida where the dash gets pretty hot. Good price and just what I needed.Aug 2022 update: I go through these because of the heat in Florida so I keep a spare one on hand. Box came smashed so I opened the bag it was in to make sure it wasn’t cracked as the mount is plastic and could have been crushed. Mount appears to be unharmed.

It sticks pretty good, only time will tell
It's winter time and the cold isn't causing it to fall off the windshield,,,yet. GPS, radar detector, dash cams can usually come crashing down during a cold winters windshield, but so far this dash cam one has hung on well. The dashcam came with a sticky mount, but I prefer putting my dashcam in hiding at every parked stop, so I bought this separately for ease of use. Turns out the disconnect on the dashcam works pretty smoothly and I could've have just gone with the sticky tape.

Poor product. Mine never worked properly
After installing the camera, I could never get it to stop recording in the emergency recording mode. I contacted the company and they suggested it needed a firmware update. So they sold a product that needed a firmware update. You would think they would have updated the product before shipping?It now resides in the garbage.

causing me to have to clear the memory more often than I would like.
This stand wobbles if the temperature gets too high, being in direct sunlight causes the plastic used in the suction cup to loosen and allow the base to wobble a bit. Video quality is marginally affected by this, but it does trigger many more false emergency recordings, causing me to have to clear the memory more often than I would like.

Great mount, a little pricey but works very well
Great mount, a little pricey but works very well. Once it's mounted, it's solid and good to go. Much better than the adhesive one that came with the Drivepro.

pros:small, not like those big suction mounts. this thing is maybe 1" diameterneat push lock system.the camera hold clicks on after it slides in, securing it yet easily dismountablethe swivel and ball mount allow for just about any anglecan move while recording by loosening the screw a bit, in case you need to record something on the side or backcons:this should be std. with the camera purchase
