I recently purchased this book for my daughter, and it has been a wonderful addition to our bedtime routine. The book asks questions about life, which the parent answers, and then the child replies, creating a meaningful dialogue between us.My daughter has ADHD, and bedtimes can be particularly challenging. While many people suggest a strict routine, we find that introducing something new and exciting each night works best for her. This book has been a brilliant addition to our varied bedtime activities, which include reading books, listening to music, and white noise.The book has been incredibly supportive in managing her anxiety and provides us with a special activity to focus on together. We keep our exchanges private, which makes it even more special. We both love it, and it has become a cherished part of our bedtime routine. I also purchased another copy for her to fill in with her Dad, and it has been equally successful.Overall, this book has been a fantastic tool for fostering communication and bonding, and I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a unique and engaging bedtime activity.

This shared parent/child journal is a good idea that could make a great family keepsake but it's a bit too poorly executed. The cheap spiral notebook is filled with some interesting questions for the child and parent to answer and reflect and what it was like to be a kid and for the child to think about their hopes and aspirations. I would hope that it would spark some interesting discussion but it's a bit too focused on back and forth where one answers the question and then the other answers the same or similar question which starts to feel a bit like homework. It needs to be broken up with some actual together things. Unfortunately being a low-quality book it gets tatty fairly quickly so unlikely to be completed and kept for a future look, which is a shame.

Very cheap and poor quality- the pages are very thin and see through

My hopes of a well-produced journal that could make a wonderful keepsake, were dashed when I turned over the front cover.The paper is thin and cheap feeling, and the printing is awful. Not only does it lack contrast, it looks like a photocopy of stylised text that was printed on a black and white inkjet printer from the 1990s.The potential is there: given a little more attention to the quality, this could be a fantastic way to learn about, and learn from, older family members, and to become a wonderful way to remember them.
