Worth every cent!
I just upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy buds pro to the EW300 DSP and I truly cant believe the sound quality from these IEMs. Everything is so crystal clear with incredible ranges! The bass and treble to the mids are all amazing. They are comfortable and perfect out of the box. Easy to follow instructions and easy to use. Good cable quality and length.

Fantastic-sounding DSP option for Simgot lovers with a teeny bit of an extra kick
This review is written from the perspective of a music lover who listens for casual fun and isn't an audiophile. I listen to music all the time and I generally know how to read a squig, but I don't stare at them super hard and don't pretend to be able to detect subtle differences with my ears. I have never liked wireless earbuds because of the generally cruddy sound unless you spend a ton, and because they constantly fall out of my ears. (Yes, I know you can change the tips. It still happens.) I got tired of chasing my wireless earbuds across the sidewalk and flirted with over-the-ear options, but then fell down the IEM rabbit hole when I found out they aren't just for kpop idols and that a multitude of affordable options were out there just for listening to music. I have a pair of Salnotes Zero 2s that are my nightstand IEMs, but the rest of my collection is all Simgot: EW200, EA500LM, and now the EW300 DSPs. I fall into the category of people who don't find Simgot IEMs too "shouty" and appreciate the bright, vocal-forward sound they tend to have. I gave the EW200s to my brother (who uses them on stage) and have been running the EA500LMs, which I absolutely love, as my daily walkaround IEMs. My only quibbles with the EA500LMs is that they are heavy and tend to shift in my ears (yes I have tried different tips) and I don't like dealing with dongles while walking around listening to music on my phone. Otherwise I have no complaints, and use them with the silver nozzles and Spinfit W1 tips. I bought the EW300 DSPs because my new iPhone has a USB-C connection, they went on sale, and frankly because they are cute. After listening to them for half of a day my conclusions are: - Sound is warmer than your sorta "general Simgot sound" but not so much that I'm bothered. They sound great. Anyone who thought older Simgots were too "shouty" will like these better. - That said, I prefer the silver (red O-rings) nozzles to the bronze (pink O-rings) because for me, the bronze nozzles are just a little too warm and feel kind of muddy in comparison. Not actually muddy. Just muddier. Your personal taste may vary. It's easy to swap the nozzles out so you can try both. - If I compare them side by side the EA500LMs sound better, but not by a ton and not in a way I'd personally notice without putting them right next to each other, especially if I am walking around in an environment with ambient noise without the volume turned up so high I can't hear anything else. I like being able to hear, so I generally don't turn the volume up that high. - Shells are very lightweight and do not shift in the ear nearly as much while I walk around as my EA500LMs. They just fit my ears better. - I love the DSP cable. It has some memory and is very lightweight, but to me that makes it easier to wear while walking around. I love not having a dongle so that the entire cable is shorter, and a mic so I can take calls. The mic has a button that will start/stop music which is also handy in case someone starts talking to you. With my usual setup I'd have to fumble my phone out of my pocket to stop the music, and/or take the EA500LMs out of my ears. - The heart/plus design on the shells is very subtle but very very cute. The fact that they are matte black suits my personal aesthetic preferences very well. Conclusion: Absolutely love the EW300 DSPs and will recommend them to all of my friends. I am going to keep my EA500LMs as my sitting-at-my-desk IEMs, and use the EW300s as my walkabout IEMs. Especially for the sale price, and if you are looking for a DSP option, they are a no-brainer.

FULL, POWERFULL, MUSICAL
Arrived overnight in a secure box enclosing the fancy looking IEM box. Very nice. The cables snugly attached onto the IEM shells. Nice labeling to indicate LEFT and RIGHT. Came with 3 sizes of ear tips and installed the medium size giving a great fit as if the IEMs were not not in my ears. Well done. Tried the gold nozzle but it reduced bass and treble. Preferred the silver ones which are straight thru while the gold ones have a plastic deflectors around the IEM exit canals. Using a DAC/AMP with 2 watts per side fitted with AKM 4499+4199 chips. The IEMs are quite efficient and did not push them too much but did at first. The BOTTOM HALF covering the bass is very powerful, articulate with good definition. Terje Isungset's In Memory of Nature Pt. 2 has a bass reproduction that can rattle you brain. Porcupine Tree, Dayshell, Of Mice and Men metal offerings come out very full and bombastic sounding. Phronesis, GoGo Penguins are clean and powerful and clean. Acoustic bass from Nenad Vasilic and Terje Gewelt are powerful and clean with great articulation. The UPPER HALF is where it can get tricky. If pushed to hard, the treble can get tizzy and chaotic lacking instrument separation especially when it is crowded with too many high pitched instruments. Like in Nika Niles' Synergy, it is very hard to differentiate the high hat, crash, ride, and splash cymbals...they all pretty much sound the same and indistinct - just one TISSHHHSSSHH. This very likely due to the design using Piezoelectric drivers that gives the tizziness in the upper registers especially with cymbals and not-so-good recordings. I do not know if this weakness in the sound reproduction will settle down after 100 hours of playing. This IEM seems to work well with pretty much any music genre including classical and female vocals. I think this IEM is fairly priced for the musical listening pleasure it will give you. AFTER 50 HOURS BURN IN: The upper registers in the treble region settled down and it is now amazingly clear and coherent from top to bottom with very little tizziness at the top. This is an amazingly dynamic and musical IEM. Kudos to the Simgot engineers for producing this gem.

The best sounding earbuds / iems that I have used and they are better than many headsets too though obviously they can't produce as much bass as a large pair of over ears. The high frequencies come through very well with more air and sparkle than I was expecting. The midrange is full and pleasant sounding with both male and female vocals sound rich and detailed. They also have a great low end with plenty of thump. I have used the Moondrop chu 2's which have a a pleasant sound but not as rich or bassey as these, nor is the high end quite as lively. The Sennheiser Momentum 4 over ear headphones are in some ways similar with an enjoyable balance of tone and strong bass, but I would say the high end on the EW300's is more enjoyable. The biggest difference is the noise isolation and cancelling on the Sennheiser's is much better, as these do not have ANC. The accessories that come with them are good with a nice little case and a good selection of quality tips. The wire is strong and comfortable and the slippery plastic is quiet on clothing. The ability to change nozzles is good and if you like bass I suggest trying the copper colored ones, and the tightest fitting tips you can comfortably use. There are filters you can add to the nozzles which will reduce the hi frequencies a bit if that is your thing. They are a good fit for my ears and I can wear them for hours without discomfort or fatigue. Lastly these are really good value for the money as they are so much cheaper than I would expect for the quality of sound.
