This is a good camera for situations when you need to reach out a hundred feet or more to see the end of a long driveway or across big yard. You can zoom in and read a license plate at least 100 feet away which is remarkable. Set up is easy and standard. You are able to use it fine on Blue Iris and there are no obvious security or privacy issues with this cam. Actually, Blue Iris thinks this is a Dahua cam, or at least Dahua protocol for what it's worth. You need to know this camera is BIG and it's HEAVY. I would say at least twice the size of a standard bullet camera. On the other hand it seems very sturdy and likely to take bad weather quite well. For the very reasonable price this is an excellent camera especially if you need to reach out and zoom in to your target area. I recommend it.

I have several of these Hitosino cameras, and the resolution and night vision capabilities are impressive--better than other IP cameras in the same price range that I have owned. The wide aperture allows for high sensitivity to light at night with great color fidelity. I also like that the camera doesn't use infrared because that means I don't need to worry about it attracting spiders to build their webs over the lens. The camera is also very durable, unlike flimsier IP cams I've owned.

Camera is old stock 2/2019. Camera screw heads to access reset button were ground out to prevent opening the camera. The IP address and password were not on the box and no support from vendor. Varies attempts to change IP have failed. Do not buy from this vendor.

This works with my Hikvision NVR just like a native Hik cam does. This is a different series than my other cams, which are 3MP. The 3MP cams have better low light capability than this one, but it's not terrible with the IR feature turned on.

Great outdoor camera, easy to set up. I like the quality of the pictures and videos.

I ordered these as an alternative to the expensive and failure prone Hikvision cameras. They perform well and do everything the Hikvisions do at a much better price point. As for durability I can't say yet but I have no reason to expect any issues, the case is metal and larger than the Hikvision so cooling should be better in a hot environment. I don't see how you could go wrong with these cameras. I run all mine at 4MP
