Would have preferred if it was wider, but amazing product

I like the size of this cup and the vacuum performance. It keeps drinks cold for a long time.I am sure the performance is fine for hot liquids as well, but I am a little bit concerned about sending hot soup in a vacuum cup for kids. A safe holding temperature is above 140 degrees F, and a safe temperature for not burning one's mouth is below 140 degrees F. Too hot, kids burn their mouths, too cold, they get food poisoning.But anyway, my kid's school has too short a lunch period, so it's nice to send chocolate milk along with lunch to avoid the line.

This item holds just enough for a small meal or a good amount of soup. The heat retention isn't the best, but it opens easily and doesn't leak. Most importantly, my kids can open the lid unassisted at school. A pretty good find overall.

I obtained this insulated food jar for my 5-year old daughter to be able to bring hot lunches to school from home. This a standard 10 oz. food container which fits nicely in Bentgo style lunch bags. My daughter liked the cute cat design and was excited to show her pre-K friends. The lid has a nice shape that allows adults to securely screw it close while also still allowing kids to open the lid. The insulation works well enough to keep my daughter's food warm for lunch nearly 6 hours after packing.Overall, I would really recommend this insulated food jar for your kid.

This little thermos will keep food PIPING hot for a while. The first time I tried it was with macaroni straight out of the pot, with the lid off the macaroni was still hot hours later. With the lid on this thermos will keep food hot all day long in a lunch bag. The pattern is adorable and 100% dishwasher safe so far. Very well made and holding up super well.
