This tool is a must have for home owners! It's something you buy BEFORE you need it, because water issues are the worst. I purchased the tool as an emergency backup for my basement sump pump. The tool sat in my basement for a year, until my sump pump broke on a weekend. I used the tool to empty my sump pump pit, until a plumber could replace my sump pump. I slid the provided hose onto the 3/4" outlet. I pumped water into a 5 gallon bucket which I dumped into a floor drain. I'll update my setup, getting a longer hose that I can run directly to the floor drain, for the next time. The tool pumps at a nice flow/speed, to where water fills the bucket without splashing back on you. The provided hose comes with a bit of a kink in it, but it works itself out after a few days. My various DeWalt batteries fit just fine. The pump worked so well, I bought a second one as a backup. It's worth every penny to be able to move water away from where you don't want it.

Used this during the recent snow/ice storm when we could not move around easily. Found it to work fast and very effective on our cistern. I would buy this again if I needed to as its very easy to usr and the water flows fast.

This pump works like a dream. We fill a water tank insert the pump and water our garden. Saves a lot of time and hand work.

Dewalt battery plugs right in as well as the aftermarket. Got it to use if we lose power and need the sump pump. Doesn't go on and off with the water level so you need to watch it but works great.
