I hit this yoyo while doing around the world and there's a barely visible scratch on it. It's very easy to use and bc of this yoyo i can do the one hand star trick :).

This yo-yo was for my 8 year old. She loves it. It's not too complicated and allows her to do as much as she can with her skill and then some. I would recommend this for anyone in the beginning stages even an adult to learn on./

I guess I don't know much about yoyos. To wind this, you have to hold your finger on the string by the center of the strong winding area so it doesn't just spin around and around. My 5 year old figured it out, but it was rough for a couple of days.

I must say, it's a fantastic option for beginners. It feels sturdy and well-made, and it can withstand a few accidental drops without showing any signs of damage. The size is just right, fitting comfortably in my hand, and the smooth finish makes it easy to grip. While I haven't mastered any advanced tricks yet, I've found it responsive and easy to control, making it ideal for learning the basics. The only minor downside is that the string can sometimes tangle, but that's a common issue with yo-yos.

My students have decided they really like trying out my yoyos, though none of them has quite got the hang of it yet. I have a couple of the aluminum yoyos, but they appear to be a bit more challenging for my students. This one, for some reason, is easier for them to operate. They will often start by trying the grunge looking aluminum yoyo, but quickly decide they want to try this one. Fortunately, this is also tough as nails. I can't tell you how many times I have heard this hit the floor or a desk with enough force that I worry it must be cracked, but as of yet, it doesn't show a single scratch. So, if you are a beginner, or are learning some new skills that could be hard on the yoyo, this would be a great place to start.

This yo-yo comes with a fabulous case, glove, tools to switch out the bearing between "responsive" and "unresponsive", and a number of extra strings just in case. The instructions were clear for adding the string and we were ready to play in minutes! The yo-yo is a great size for my 10yo daughter but also for my (smaller adult) hands. The plastic is a great weight in your hands and well-balanced. We were all impressed and my kiddo is busy learning all sorts of new tricks!
