Nice, quality paper. It doesn't bleed with gel or straight ink pens. It feels like a good quality for the money. The color is nice because it is a purple but any pen will show up on it, it isn't too dark. I have bought this two times and I share it with my daughter in college and she agrees it's a great legal pad.

Love the color

Several my businesses use pink colored office supplies as they stand out well on my desk, briefcase, etc. These pads are of high quality construction with thick paper. The description states legal but also states 8.5 x 11 inch which is NOT legal size. I did NOT want legal size as the pads functionality is better as regular size for my needs. I would highly recommend these pads for anyone wanted pink colored pads. Just note the size in the description.

Color is perfect!!

These are nice pads in terms of paper and colors, but the lines are way too dark to easily ignore them and focus on your writing. To me, it was too visually distracting to be useful. I want the first thing to hit me is what I've written, not the lines it was written on. No other legal pad I've bought has this problem. Maybe it would be good for children learning to write on a line, but not for adults who want the lines as faint guides, not jumping out at you. I needed the pads and wanted to use them, but finally decided to return them as they would've always been annoying in a subliminal way.
