Shaver came neatly packed in box complete with 4x extra blades and extension rods.Instructions for assembly & use are on the box.Looks heavier than it is to hold but feels sturdy and manageable at full extension. Extension rods are hard plastic and easy to screw together. Instructions are given on box for removal & insertion of blades but not finding them easy to follow - anyone used to these blades will have no trouble following. Each blade comes with a protective cover. With all extension rods attached the shaver inc head is 50cm (20 inches approx) in length.Seeing the 4 blades would put me off using this shaver but reckon a guy would not be as squeamish especially if he is used to a wet shave with a blade.Could see this being very convenient for the person I am giving this shaver to as I expect it will do body hair removal in no time with the multi blades and their size. I imagine it could be used with one or two blades also where required or when hair is light or regularly removed. Will update this review when I can confirm it is easy to use.Would recommend this shaver for DIY use on heavy hair removal over the body for those that like a wet shave and hair free body. This is ideal for reaching places like the back or legs if one had difficulty bending, which is made easily reachable with the extension rods supplied.Hope this review is helpful.

This was my first time trying a back shaver & overall, I was very impressed. I used it dry & didn't receive any cuts. There were some areas which I had to go over a few times (shaving your back seems to take practice!) & these became quite red but there was no pain. Once done, my body was very smooth.It came with the blades already attached, although they are very easy to remove & replace anyway. The handle comes in 2 parts which screw together. Being able to unscrew one part to make it shorter for closer areas, like the sides of the body, is very useful.My only criticism is that some parts of my back were difficult to get to with it. This will no doubt become easier with practice but I've also noticed that other shavers have curved handles & I reckon these must make the job much easier. However, these were also more expensive, so there's a trade-off there.Overall, it's a good shaver, which I would recommend.

If you can put up with the pain, blood and red raw back the razor does work, would I recommend NO !

I have for years struggled with having hairs on my back, unchecked it becomes very unattractive and I need help in getting them removed. For the first time ever I've been able to completely remove my back hair and it took 10 mins.I genuinely thought this was electric but it isn't. It's just a few blades on a stick with some guards but it works bloody brilliantly. Essentially shaves your back but without shredding it. I did it outside in the freezing cold (hairs better outside than in). Stopped once to go inside and check progress and once I knew where I needed to go it was a couple mins to finish. Nowhere was unreachable and as long as you use your left arm to do your right side (and vice-versa) then you're set. It sounds like it's scraping and scratching but my back had no redness, it just felt a little weird lying in bed but that's it.Could do the top of my arms no problem and round the back of my neck. All packed away ready for next time. Genuine 11/10 product.

My son thinks a curved handle could make it easier, in the same way that a curved handle on a back bath/shower brush works better than a straight handled one. Where do you buy replacement blades when you've used the fitted ones and the spares? A case would be a good idea. Other than that my son liked this. He had his back shaved within ten minutes at the first attempt and I think once a month should keep it how he wants it. It's well made and easy to use. I think my son will probably look at an electric one eventually but, to be honest, there's not really much to dislike about this one.
