Good for knees
I bought this despite the cost and warning that it is frequently returned after reading reviews and seeing MRI before and after in forums. I’ve used cheaper LED red light with minimal results. The Kineon I immediately could tell a difference in the color of the laser and then it doesn’t get hot like an LED. It also is very quality in construction. After daily use for 2 weeks I noticed my knees with some meniscus tears had nearly no pain walking down steps like usual. I also have noticed my knees recovering quicker from leg workouts. I previously could only do leg workouts once a month, and can now do them weekly. I also don’t have knee pain when starting cardio, and previously needed about 5 minutes to warm up before my pain would subside.I will say it has not been very helpful for my shoulder where I have a tear in my labrum. It likely is too deep versus my knee pain being closer to the surface. That said, it helping my knees has made it extremely beneficial to me.

Getting my knee back to its full function 👍🏻
I’ve been using the Move+ for the past 5 days, focusing primarily on my right knee. While the results aren’t magical, I’ve noticed some encouraging early signs of improvement, especially given the short time frame. I’ve been consistently doing 15-minute sessions daily. The device is comfortable to use—you don’t feel any heat or discomfort during treatment, which is a plus. The infrared modules themselves are impressively robust and appear to be well-synchronized, delivering a consistent dose across the treated area. However, my main concern is with the strap design. It’s suboptimal, particularly for securing the device around the knee or smaller surface areas. A more adjustable or ergonomic strap would significantly improve the overall experience.

VERY Disappointed – Didn’t Deliver Results
I really, really wanted the Kineon laser to work. I deal with runner’s knee and genuinely believe in the science behind cold laser therapy (I have a background in physics), so I was hopeful. Unfortunately, I didn’t experience any meaningful pain relief — certainly not enough to justify the price. One thing that stood out to me is that the Kineon uses Class I lasers, which are low-power and don’t require eye protection. That’s a big contrast from in-clinic devices I’ve used in the past that do require protective eyewear — and it made me question whether the Kineon’s lasers are powerful enough to be effective.I also struggled with the design. The straps were difficult to secure, and no matter how carefully I tightened them, the device kept slipping down my leg when I stood up — even when I tried reinforcing it with an extra strap.I was able to return the product within the 30-day window, which I’m grateful for — though it’s worth pointing out that the company recommends trying it for 30 days, which could leave some people outside of the return period if they follow that advice too literally.

Pricey but it works!
My orthopedic surgeon recommended using IR therapy during my recovery after a hip replacement. This device works so much better than the IR heating pads I tried in the past. I now use it for any aches and pains or after intense exercise. I think it's a quality device and worth the money. My doctor actually has one of these at his office and I was surprised it wasn't more expensive. I like that you can take it apart and change its placement as needed for your issue.

Definitely think it’s helping my bone bruise
It’s been three months since I had a bone contusion injury on the plateau where the tibia meets the knee and I’ve been barely able to walk or do any activity that I’m normally used to being able to do. I’m was mostly walking with a cane and in the last 2 1/2 weeks of using this product every day I have seen a noticeable difference in my pain and I’ve been able to walk over a mile every day for the last week with no cane. Not much else has changed other than time passing so I’m thinking it is definitely having a good effect on helping my bone bruise heal. I also use it on my face and I’ve noticed my skin is better looking and not as dull as usual. The only reason I’m giving it four stars is because I’ve only had it a few weeks, but we’ll see if it stands the test of my trip where I’ll be walking a lot soon.

Kineon: A Game-Changer in My Battle Against Knee Pain
Two years ago, I injured my knee while carrying heavy boxes—over 100 times during a move. The pain was so severe I couldn’t walk for three days. Desperate for relief, I turned to YouTube and other resources to self-treat my pain. I tried taping, massage, knee braces, cupping, icing, heating, and stretching. Gradually, the pain improved, and I began muscle training, which also helped. However, pain beneath my kneecaps persisted, limiting my daily activity. That’s when I discovered Kineon. It wasn’t an instant fix, but after using it consistently for a week, I noticed a definite reduction in pain. While Kineon hasn’t completely eliminated my pain, I can now walk over 10,000 steps a day—something I couldn’t do before.Kineon has been a valuable addition to my recovery routine. If you’re dealing with stubborn knee pain, I’d recommend giving it a try.

straps are terrible
For all the new research that has come out regarding red light therapy this could be a real game changer for those of us with a need. Be it pain relief, cognitive help, inflammation etc. You would think that they would honor your clients with a robust product. The light modules are exactly that, they look and feel medical grade, sturdy and high quality. The straps that hold it all together and as important as the modules...is garbage. You absolutely need to spend $50 on the extender which allows you to use it for most of what we need it for and should be included for free. But the straps in comes with is terrible. It wasn't designed to work effectively and with any common sense. You would "think" it would have elasticity so it could hold on a joint and not slip but no. But i bet the $50 extender that costs $2 in material probably does.
