Will this fit an excel 24" top mount sand filter?

I don't know , but it fits great on an 18" Hayward top mount filter and does an excellent job.

What size pressure gauge will fit this?

I’m not sure about what you need in particular. But this valve is a cheap knock off and spits out sand into the pool every time I back flush it and then turn it back on to filter ... I wish I would have paid more for an actual Hayward product!
