The chair is absolutely fantastic. It’s incredibly comfortable, very well built especially the money, tilts back nicely for comfortable gaming and took no more than 15 minutes to put together with really clear and easy to follow instructions with a really sturdy alan key provided which i was impressed with for a freebie. Padding is nice and thick but especially great on the arm rests and appreciated, amazing this £120 chair has padded arm rests but £500 gaming chairs dont…make it make sense ! Overall its a nice clean look in my opinion, you cant go wrong with this for £120 seriously.

This is a beautiful and comfortable chair, and I am glad I ordered it. The only issue is that is heavier than it says in the description. In the description, the weight is given as 13 KG. On the strength of that, I ordered it because I live on the second floor of a building without a lift, and it is cumbersome to bring heavy items up the stairs. When the delivery arrived, I realised than the item is much heavier than described. Thankfully, the Amazon driver was kind enough to bring it up the stairs for me. Then, I saw on the box that the total weight with the packaging is 17.2 KG. Other than that, the assembly was ok, not too difficult for one person. The coasters: 3 out of 5 were impossible to click in, and I had to hammer them in. The rest of the assembly went well, even fitting the armrests wasn't too hard. When the chair came together, I sat on it and found it to be very comfortable, well made and it seems of good quality. Hopefully the PU leather won't crack too soon. The item appears to come with a 3-year warranty, at least this is what it says on the box. If that's true, I would give this chair 10 out of 10, for now. Will update, if anything changes. UPDATE JAN 2025 The chair is really a 10 out of 10. I find it very comfortable to sit for prolonged hours. (And I am a person that would normally need extra cushions on a computer chair.) The 'leather' is doing very well. Although I keep a heater near the chair, I do not see any tendency for the leather to crack, as it has happened in the past with other chairs when exposed to a heat source. The lifting mechanism is also working very well. The chair is very comfortable, modern and spacious, and I absolutely recommend it. UPDATE APRIL 2025 The chair is still looking like new and feels super comfortable. You will not regret this purchase.

This chair is very nice and soft. I've taken the star off because the handles are static i.e. you can't adjust up or down an they are ridiculously high for my frame (5ft 3) so not useful at all so I end up tucking my arms inside the handles. Not ideal. If they were adjustable or even a little lower this would have got 5 stars!

This is a well made chair with solid components that should last longer than my last office chair. It is comfortable and i do like the adjustable armrests which enabel you to shift the chair very close to your desk if needed without the arms getting in the way. Putting it together is not a doddle as some suggest! It took me about an hour and was difficult on my own. Some people may need some help as the seats are heavy and it is a little tricky getting the screws lined up with the holes! The allen key provided is of excellent quality and certainly helped make the job easier. Overall i think this is good value for money. It certainly looks and feels that way!

Lovely,comfortable chair. The reclining position is such a bonus as it’s being used as office chair & gaming. Easy to put together. So if you want a multifunctional chair at a really good price, this is the one to get!!

Updated Review One Year Later After a year of owning this chair, and using it on a daily basis I am amending my review down to one star. The chair has developed a number of problems, which only became apparent over time. 1) The faux leather finish means that if it's warm you will get very sweaty. The material doesn't breathe at all. 2) Talking of the faux leather, it has degraded quite badly, peeling away to reveal the fabric base. 3) The chair developed a pronounced loud squeak or creak upon every movement. This can be cured by the application of grease or oil, but it always comes back. 4) Something gave way in the mechanism, meaning that the chair now slopes slightly down at the left hand side. I can't see any way tighten it. I have never had a chair wear out so quickly, and I would hesitate to recommend this one after living with it for a year. It wasn't one of the more expensive chairs available, nor one of the cheapest, but I do now wish I had paid a little more to get something better. Original 4 Star Review: This Marsail Executive Office Chair with Flip-up Armrests arrived quickly and was well packaged. All the parts were present and unmarked. There was a sturdy Allen key in the box. I chose the black colour, and the item was just as it appeared in the photo on Amazon. I paid £139.99 and the chair was delivered on time (the next day). Assembly was tricky for my ageing back, and I did need some assistance when attaching the seat to the back, but all the parts seemed to be robust and fitted together well, with the exception of a couple of the casters, one of which would not go all the way in no matter what I tried. I decided to go ahead anyway and hoped that it would settle down once I was sitting in it. I’m now using the chair on a carpeted floor, and any unevenness caused by that one rogue caster seems to be undetectable, and the chair rolls back and forth happily. The gas canister worked well enough to raise the seat to my preferred height, and the tilt mechanism worked great once it was significantly loosened. There is an assembly pamphlet, but it doesn’t contain any user instructions. But I suppose most of us are chair experts anyway! The faux leather covering for seat, arms and back is of the easy clean variety, and after just an hour or so of sitting it’s comfortable enough. I can’t say how it will hold up over time, but if it becomes a problem I will adjust this review. One minor point is that the arm rests are quite high and wide. I’m 5’11” and of average build. I think the executives that Marsail had in mind might be of the six foot plus and portly variety! I might engage the services of a nice cushion! All in all a nice chair and very good value, at least compared to some of the really expensive ones out there. In the office where I worked before I retired we had chairs that cost about £500 each, where every part could swivel and tilt in relation to every other part. This one is more comfortable, with the possible exception of the giant armrests.

I really like the chair. Comfomtable to sit in and has good adjustment. qualities. However, after five months the material on the arms started to crack. Very Poor Qaulity.
