Good power. Worked well for my pool.
Very good pump.

Works fine.
Used it once to drain a 15 ft above ground pool, took a few days because I had a narrow hose but no issues at all. I mounted it slightly off the surface of the pool bottom because the intake is quite flat and flush. The only reason it's for instead of five stars is because of my limited experience with it. Would buy again.

Seems like a very solid pump, but there seems to be a flaw (is it me or the pump?)
When you pull this pump from the box it has a very high quality appearance. It's solid and well built, and I expected it to work like a charm emptying an 80 foot, PVC bottomed tub. Unfortunately it didn't. At first I was actually convinced it was operator error. I read and reread the instructions (well... looked at the drawings... there's little writing), but couldn't see anything I was doing wrong. Thinking back on other sump pumps I have owned, I recalled most of them had a stand of some sort on the bottom. This kept the intake for the pump an inch or so off the bottom. Oddly, this pump had no such thing (even in the drawings it seems to sit flush), and it came to my mind that the reason the water was coming out at only a trickle might be because the flexible bottom of my tank was being sucked into the intake, which in this pump lies flush with the bottom of the casing. So I changed tact. I lay the pump on it's side and restarted it. Voila!! It began drawing water out at a far increased rate. Still not as much as a slightly smaller pump I ran several weeks ago through the same hose, but still fairly quickly. So is it me or the pump? It seems there should be a stand underneath the bottom of the pump so that it doesn't stick to the floor of whatever it is emptying, thus stifling the water flow. Maybe I'm missing something, but if I am, the rather flimsy instructions were useless in explaining this to me. On the plus side, it is very quiet and the float that automatically turns the pump off when the water gets low worked very well. But this is a $90 pump, and if my suspicions are correct, this is a very easy flaw to fix. Heck... there are three small holes on the bottom that almost look like they're there to attach said pedestal. I wanted to give this pump a better score, but either the instructions are so shabby that I can't understand my error, or the pump needs to have a way to stop the intake from sitting flush on the bottom of the tank it's emptying.

Works, but it's slow - instructions confusing and I can't tell if it's me or the product
It works, but extremely slowly. I got this to drain a small stock tank holding about 75 gallons of water. The tank is being used as an outdoor soaking tub on hot days. I'd hoped to connect a hose to the sump pump and be able to water the yard / fill my rain barrels if there's a drought. It ran for over an hour and maybe drained about 40 gallons during that time. Perhaps the hose length (25 foot hose) was inadvisable. I see now the description says max delivery height is 23 feet - but this was length, not height. Are the two the same thing? The height was under two feet. I wound up just removing water with a two-gallon bucket after this had been running for an hour because I was impatient to move on with my day. I also wound up hooking up a soaker hose to the stock tank outlet to keep draining water too. The instructions are mostly pictures, no words, and they don't describe the automatic / manual aspect of the pump in a way that I could understand. (The online description shows more than the instructions). So, I'm left not knowing if I did something wrong, or if I misunderstand "max height" or if the pump I received is just really slow. I can and will try this later with a shorter hose if I can find one and update if that makes a different.

Clean water only - impressive for price
I’m impressed for the price. Slightly disappointed that I overlooked that this is meant for clean water only but that’s on me. Have only used for temporary pumping of a foundation using a garden hose as a discharge line.
