Copper and Green Beaded Wood Hairstick, Laying Tool for Needlepoint and Sewing Stiletto

This gorgeous green and copper laying tool will add elegance to your stitching tools. It will be a beautiful addition to your stitching bag and help perfect your stitches at the same time. But be advised that the end is sharpened to a point because I have crafted this lovely piece to be used primarily as a laying tool for needlepoint or sewing stiletto. The laying tool is approximately 7 inches (17.78 cm), as shown in the photo, but each one may vary slightly. The color of the wood may also vary, but I do my best to keep them as close to the photographed one as possible. The laying tool (also called a stiletto) is a basic in any needlepointer's tool set. It allows one to keep threads flat, untwisted, and separated, producing a smooth, professional stitch. (see the last photo) It can also be used in cross stitch and other forms of needle work where multiple strands of thread, or threads that can become twisted, are used. I've added a little glamour and glitz to this needlework standard. The photo of the pointed end is an actual picture of one of my laying tools. A stiletto can also make life much easier for quilters and anyone who sews! Use the stiletto to ease fabric through the presser foot and to keep from getting caught up in the feed dogs. It can also be used to push out corners in the corners of sewn items.
