Informative book
If you are interested in Excel programming, then this guide is for you. In this book, the author tells us about Excel formulas and functions, relative and absolute cell references, sum, count and counts, IF, operators, logical functions, OND, OR, XOR, NOT, LEN, concatenate, TRIM, MIN, MAX, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP and much more. I found this guide very informative, practical and useful. It is described in the simple language and easy to understand. I got so much new information about Excel. I liked this book and I am glad to have it on my Kindle. I would recommend this guide for those who need such type of information. It is worth reading.

Terrible Layout - No Index to refer to
Complete disappointment in this product. It is a user manual type of layout, but has no index. Thus, the only way to try to find a particular subject, formula, etc., is to thumb through the pages one at a time. Even then the headings are vague making it difficult to find a particular subject matter. Not at al user friendly.

Disappointing
I saw the critical review from 2018 about the layout of the book. The "Look Inside" feature on the book listing showed very little but I fell for it anyway. It's a print on demand book so I couldn't help but assume the author had corrected the basic problems. Nope! Still no page numbers, no index, and the Table of Contents is just a vague list. I guess it wouldn't have made the TOC any better considering the pages didn't have numbers to refer to. Maybe the author could find a book on Microsoft Word to learn how to create a document with page numbers and TOC references.

Leaves out all information you would need in order to understand Microsoft templates.
I wanted to understand the free Microsoft templates. None of that was covered in this book. You can learn everything in this book by just highlighting the basic commands in Excel. I wanted to understand the entries like: "=IFERROR(SUMIF(Register[Category],"=" &[@Category],Register[Deposit (+)]),"")"but this book didn't go into any of that.

Nice tutorial book on Excel
This book helped me to grasp all the required formulas. Took paperback which I felt little costly but it's fine. An investment for self learning

Basic only ... no advanced stuff (ie solver etc.)
Just very basic stuff ... for $3 ... meh! But at least it was well edited. Layout very readable .
