This is a solid tactical top. The 1/4 zip is smooth and the collar holds its shape well. The reinforced sleeves are great for outdoor use, and the pockets are actually functional. Definitely holds up better than more expensive brands I've tried. I’m really impressed with the quality of this combat shirt. The material on the torso is breathable and moisture-wicking, while the sleeves feel durable and rugged. It fits true to size and works perfectly under a vest or plate carrier.

I like the quality of all of the CQR stuff. These shirts are nice to wear. Never been a fan of Velcro cuffs but not a dealbreaker. You cannot roll the collar down. It has to stay up otherwise it looks kind of funky. if you're wanting to wear something underneath of this to keep you really warm, I would probably size up one size. But just a shirt by itself, I would say from my own experience that order your size.

I purchased this shirt to take on backpacking trips, hiking in the woods and also as a cold weather running shirt. The shoulders and sleeves are reinforced and feel very sturdy. The torso section is stretchy, comfortable and breathable. There's Velcro on the wrists which keeps the sleeves from moving about when active. I like the zippered pocket on the upper arm which is big enough for a small cell phone. All in all, this is a rugged shirt that is always in my bag for outdoor adventuring.

The garment performs as advertised, durable for its fabric choice and purpose, its stretching capability exceeds my expectations especially when traversing in uncomfortable situations (crawling or crouching) and it’s overall cooling capability it a very much appreciated bonus. It didn’t come frayed or anything out of the ordinary and even if so then it is upon my responsibility to fix it by burning off the IP’s and giving it a thorough gentle wash with solvents that boost its durability, but considering I picked out the bare bones variant solely to keep me cool for those 100+ days. I’d say this is a wonderful choice for a cost effective tactical garment especially when it’s incredibly comfortable and versatile to pair with any other pieces of equipment for the occasion. Color wise I genuinely prefer C-Brown because of my arid environment and climate, and of course, if there’s a hole or a torn mark then don’t complain about it being too lackluster in quality. Fix it, you’re a man and we don’t complain. The gear always reflects its user, tough as nails.

As someone who works in the field. CQR stands up well. I just started wearing this combat shirt intime for winter weather. It keeps me warm in 29°F (-1°C) weather. It meets criteria for my work uniform. Its got plenty of pockets, only gripe I have is i need to open the left sleeve forearm pen pockets. For some reason they're sewn shut. But really no issue since it's winter and I have a jacket on over top of it. The mesh at the bottom keeps my temp well regulated. It stretches well for mobility, and is very comfortable for my 12 hour shifts. I'll likely be buying the warm weather one when spring comes.
