Weston Deluxe Electric Tomato Strainer

Made fantastic tomato sauce! Helped to easily preserve our harvest. Perfect for beginners.

I am really impressed with the Weston I ordered. I have previously been using a Victorio Mannual Food Strainer (which worked good and had used for many years) but was getting tired of hand cranking every summer. This Weston electric food strainer works great. It is easy to assemble and clean. I like that it is easy to switch from one screen to the other. The only problem is that I needed it higher off the counter so I could put a pan or bowl underneath the shoot that the juice goes down. Even though the shoot is somewhat adjustable it was still just too low. My husband cut and screwed together some boards that I am able to set it on to raise it up about 6 inches.

Prior to purchasing this unit, we washed the tomatoes, boiled the tomatoes, placed the tomatoes in an ice water, removed the skin, cut them up into smaller pieces and manually turned a strainer to remove the seeds. After scalding my hand we purchased this unit. Now we simply wash the tomatoes, cut them into smaller pieces, and let the unit do all the work. This unit saves lots of time in making sauce and works great. I would recommend this unit and would buy it again.

The machine shipped to me by ANGEL SELLER was clearly a returned item that was reshipped in non-working condition. Product box was mangled and sent with no operation manual. Machine pieces shipped were in disarray, and the motor control switch only worked in reverse. Complete buzz kill buying experience.

The media could not be loaded. I never leave reviews unless I absolutely LOVE the product. This tomato strainer is amazing! Does everything it says it does. Easy to assemble. Easy to operate. Switching to organically made sauce is important to me because I’m trying to stay away from foods that contain preservatives. I highly recommend this product!!!

I make my own homemade pasta sauce. This unit has allowed me to easily cut my time in almost half! No more peeling skin or cutting tomatoes, this machine's does it for you.Major time saver!!Easy to clean as most parts are top rack dishwasher safe. The others simply rinse.I did notice the white parts stained, but that was expected.Overall, if you make tomato sauce ( pasta, pizza, ect. ) this unit is essential!!!!!

I used this several times to can tomatoes. It cut the time for prep in half. Its a little noisy but gets the job done. I worry that the motor which sounds like it works hard might eventually wear out with a lot of use. The plastic chute connection tabs seem like they might eventually break off too. The release button for this should be in front rather than back, where it cannot be seem. I always forget it is there and have difficulty removing the chute until I remember it is there. I love the 3 different size strainer screens. I wish I had this when I made my blackberry jam. On the whole, this is a great product that will get lots of use.

Worked like a dream, the time saving of processing tomatoes is more than worth the cost. Clean up was a breeze. Only complaint is the height the machine sits. Had to raise it up on a makeshift stand in order to get the bowl I needed under the chute to collect the pulp and juice.
