So glad I bought this!
I was beginning to think I couldn't stream my PS3 games. It's hard to find the right HDMI splitter.

Hi Hopes turned into Big Nopes
Better luck next time, I guess. When Amazon writes "Frequently Returned", they mean it. This splitter plugged in fine, and my other HDMI plugged in fine, too. But did my screens work? NOPE. I'll go for a more reputable brand next time.

Worked with some Proviions.
I hooked this up to a recent Mac and two HDMI monitors. It worked automatically and mirrored the screens. The hardest part was finding a free 5 V USB-A port to power it. The next hardest part was resetting the display size and and the audio output to work as I wanted them.

Works great without reducing the original port
The splitter worked great and did expanded the ability to keep the original port as well gave two more ports to use.

Won't split my display. Only mirrors
I actually got this so I could get multiple displays to my work laptop but for some reason this unit will only mirror the same display on each monitor. I have 0 reason to look at the same thing on 3 screens. It'll expand them, but it will not split my display. I had to run to the dollar store and by a cheap one but it allows my display to actually split. Why this one refuses to is beyond me, played with it for almost an hour before I gave up.Giving it 3 stars because it was less than $6 so I probably should've known better.

The splitter works perfectly
If it doesn’t connect, try and use a different hdmi cord from the source to the splitter.
