I used to cut up a large rug to make it easier to dispose of. It worked perfectly and I got the job done easily and quickly.

This works pretty well on cardboard. I bought it to cut down boxes for composting and trash. It struggles on double-thick corrugated cardboard. It also struggles if you try to make diagonal cut. Cross cuts are slower than ripping with the grain... I purchased this by accident. They have one with a handle that separates your hand from the blade... It IS possible to cut yourself with this, so you have to be really mindful of where your free/holding hand is. I try to keep/move it to the back of the cutting area. It is slow, but I prefer that. Overall, I think one is more likely to get hurt with a utility knife than this, but I am still interested in the other model. A very disappointing thing is this company does not sell the blades... That is a HUGE thing. It looks like, to me, the Worx model may take the same blades and you can buy those here on Amazon. These blades will get dull, especially cutting cardboard which is really hard on blades... It cut 1/4" foam core easily. I didn't try it on any other materials, but might try to cut some flexible plastic netting with it... I'm happy about the purchase as I hate using utility knives on cardboard.

I am in love, just don't tell my hubby that! This thing is absolutely a must, especially if you're mobility is limited. It cuts through cardboard fast and easily! Worth every penny. The size is perfect for my hands. It's built very well.

One of my favorite items that I have bought on Amazon. It works as advertised. I can take a box and cut it down to small pieces with ease. It's not like cutting butter but it cuts with ease. Very enjoyable and rewarding to use. I love this item!

Workd great for paperthin items.The one I received didn't do well with standard boxes.I have to crease the cardboard if I'm going to be able to use the cutter on standard size cardboard boxes.I would not buy from this company again

A wonderful addition for the snow day cardboard building projects. The cutter is well constructed, easy to use, and for the cost it kept my 3 boys busy for hours, with as cheap as it is I may even buy 2 more to help minimize the arguments. thankfully the speed of cutting the the sharpness allowed for the boys to move quickly on their projects and fight less.

The media could not be loaded. Great tool concept it states it cuts all types of fabrics and other items. Unfortunately it does not cut knit. It just eats it up and it just destroys it. I thought if I change the blade that may have better results, but unfortunately, there is no way to replace the blade Design. Nice grip great build just not working great for fabrics and that’s what I needed it for.

I have small hands and was unable to push the safety button and squeeze the start at the same time. The only way I could get it going was to use two two hands. Not ideal, easy or safe.
