Note: They're clear bags, not colored
I’ve been using these types of water pouches for a long time because of their versatility and they rarely let me down. These particular bags are right there along with the much more expensive brand-name ones I’ve bought in the past. They key to finding good bags is to make sure that the plastic/pvc is not the really thin kind, and that the seams are welded properly. These bags hit the mark on both of those. The seam-welds are robust and the carrying handles are a nice touch. I wouldn’t want to use the handles for long-term storage or carrying over long distances because it will stress the rest of the bag, but for quick periods, they’re comfortable enough. As someone mentioned, the lids are a little tricky because of the locking mechanism, but you figure it out. A few ways you can use these is as reusable and drinkable ice-packs in the ice-chest, as emergency water-storage, as trail water-caches, or as an easy way to bring drinking water to a picnic or park birthday party. They’re really great.

Glad we bought them
Bought these to use on day trips fishing and boating with the kids and dog. I am pleased with how durable they are we haven't had any leaks. The caps fit tight, and the handle is comfortable. They are easy to pour from when refilling our individual bottles or the dog bowl. They collapse flat and store easily. We have stored water in them for over a month and it did not develop any funny odors or tastes. Glad we bought them it's so much easier than packing enough rigid water bottles to keep the family hydrated.

Nice to Have Around Camp
Picked these up for our Explorer Troop. Instead of the normal 5 gallon water containers, these are more portable (fold flat when not in use). They did not leak and poured nicely (but a little awkward to get used to pouring). Somewhat of a challenge to fill at certain spigot given the small hole. Given these hold 2.6 gallons they weigh about 20 lbs each (filled) which is a challenge to carry, and the design of the handle does not help. Thus, not great for carrying long distances. Will be good use on future campouts for years to come (as long as we do not lose the caps!). Recommend!

Easy to use, no leaks, light for backpacking
I'm really pleased with these water tanks. I backpack, and I need a container to filter clean water into. I previously used a platypus tank, but it is heavy and the zipper top is impossible to keep closed. These water tanks have a tight cap and simple spout for pouring. I run the filter tube into the tank and it easily sits on the ground without falling over. When the filter finishes, I just cap off the tank. The tank folds flat when empty and is light for packing. At this price point, I can also let my scouts use them without a crisis if someone's tent stake punctures a tank in the backpack and it has to be thrown away. (Tent stakes poke holes in so many things when kids pack!)

They can leak around the cap
These are ok. I have had two leak. They make excellent carriers for camping if you can keep them upright

Easy to use
I purchased the 5L AMbs Collapsible Portable Water Tank Containers for use while camping as well well as to have a way of storing water during an emergency. These containers seem to be very well made. The seams are all water tight and strong. They did not pull apart during my testing. The way they stand upright is a big plus for use in a cooler and when standing on a picnic table. I have had no problems with discoloration. I have transported water, lemonade, and tea in them and they were fairly easy to clean. It would have been nice to have a larger opening but it has not been a real issue. To dry I use an old coat hanger pushed in side to hold the sides apart. As some others have said, the handles, while comfortable, are a little small. All in all these are a good buy.

Quality product- no leaks!
We bought these to hold our 'drink of the day' on the boat and they worked great! No leaking whatsoever and used one on multiple days.

Great for emergencies and remote travel
These are excellent to have on hand. They fold flat for storage. When a big storm is coming and people run to the store to buy water, I just fill these up. When I travel to remote areas I fill a couple of these for the trip. Sturdy. You can wash them out and they stay open for drying. I do use a hair dryer to speed drying up.
