After Beautiful Patience: Inspirational Islamic Reminders, Poems, and Reflections

This book is beautIfulll. I heard so much about it through social media and I knew I had to get it. It’s filled with Quran ayats and hadiths which was amazingly used as references to advise or ease your hearts when going through hardships.

I love this book! I like reading it after prayer, and two more of my cousins bought it after I recommended it to them :)

Beautifully written and put together, and appreciate how it really highlighted the most beautiful and comforting parts of the Quran and life in general!

Every page just hit, I definitely recommend

I just finished After Patience, and honestly, it really hit me in a quiet, unexpected way. It’s not one of those books with tons of twists or big dramatic moments, but that’s kind of what makes it special. It’s slow, thoughtful, and really leans into the emotions of grief, love, and figuring out life after loss. The writing is gentle and poetic without trying too hard, and the human experiences we face during our lifetimes felt real.. flawed, soft, and relatable. It’s the kind of book that doesn’t scream for your attention but stays with you after you put it down. If you're into reflective, character-driven lessons that feel a bit like sitting with a friend and having a deep conversation, this one’s for you. Just be ready for a slower pace... it’s more about the feelings than the plot.

Die Sprache ist einfach, aber die Worte haben eine enorme Wirkung. Dieses Buch hat mich nicht nur zum Nachdenken gebracht, sondern auch mein Herz berührt – eine wunderschöne Lektüre, die ich jedem empfehlen kann :)
