Kids loved it
The Electro Play Kit was an absolute hit this Christmas, and it quickly became one of the kids’ favorite toys! As soon as they opened the box, they were immediately captivated by the possibilities it offered. The kit is packed with a variety of components, and it didn’t take long for them to dive into building and experimenting. What’s really great about this kit is how it combines fun with learning. Not only did they get to construct cool, interactive projects, but they were also able to grasp basic concepts in electronics and circuitry in a way that felt like play rather than a lesson. There’s so much variety in what you can build—everything from simple circuits to more complex creations that spark curiosity. The instructions were easy to follow, and even my younger kids were able to understand the concepts with minimal help. It kept them engaged for hours, and the best part was seeing how excited they were when their creations made sounds. It’s the perfect gift for a curious mind or a child who loves to build and experiment.Overall, the Electro Play Kit is an excellent choice for encouraging STEM learning in a fun, hands-on way. It offers the right balance of challenge and creativity, and it’s something the kids can return to again and again. If you’re looking for a gift that’s both educational and entertaining, this kit is a fantastic option that delivers on both fronts!

Better than I expected
This one was a big hit with my 7yr old. He is a little engineer and we have gotten a lot of different engineering and building kits over the years. This one I like because he could do almost all of it by himself. The activities were fun and engaging. There is a battery and a switch and a motor, and then a bunch of different attachments for him to make a bunch of small machines. Vacuum, dryer, massager, fan, motor boat...those are some I can remember. Overall, a good price for fun activities he could do himself, learn some concepts, and take up severals days of engagement.

Stem for the summer
My son loves this kit! It is fun and easy to use. He loves the vacuum part the most. Age appropriate. Great price. He rated it a 10/10.

Battery pack is fragile
Nice kit for the price, but the battery pack wires are fragile, and once one of them rips out, the entire kit becomes useless.UPDATE: The seller got in touch with me and sent over two replacement packs, free of charge, so I'm updating the review to 5 stars to reflect the fact that they stood behind their product.

Pieces don’t fit together, bad instructions
Terrible! Doesn’t work! First issue was the instructions just have pictures and don’t truly label the pieces - not a huge deal, they’re all simple enough projects.First we tried the balloon boat. The pieces were slightly different than the pieces in the pictures but we figured it out - the directions talk about angling the straw to change the direction of the boat - but the hole in the boat is straight up and down, our straw could not be angled no matter how much we tried, and our boat went nowhere! Then we tried the motorized boat. Small issue, the cutouts are slightly different than pictured, as is the design of the motor. Now the big issue - We got it all assembled and my daughter was having a hard time attaching the propeller straw to the motor. I figured it just needed to be shoved on there tight, so I tried and tried and no matter what, it falls off. I tried electrical tape, it falls off. Looking through the instructions, this setup (the straw + motor) is used in most of the projects! So these components not fitting together is a huge deal. I hot glued them and it looks like it might hold for a little while under very gentle pressure, but really this is ridiculous. Waste of money, disappointed kids, and discouraged mom. Don’t waste your time and money on this poorly designed kit.

Fun, but not the best quality
I gave this to my six-year-old nephew. He did enjoy the concept of the stem activities, but he did have difficulty finding the pieces. There were a lot of pieces that looked alike, and weren’t labeled effectively. The quality isn’t the best. It is tough to attach things together, without it falling apart. We follow the directions in the booklet, but when trying to detach the pieces, some things were falling apart. I had to personally get my hot glue gun to fix some of the items in the kit. There were also some activities in the booklet that did not work effectively, so overall, I would rate this a three out of five stars. Quality could be improved, like the foam pieces, and wooden paddles. But other lessons were fun. You could even make a massage gun and a fan!Only thing is, for every lesson/activity that you do, you have to deconstruct it, in order to make a different activity. Almost all of the activities use the same motor, and paddle.

Good independent science kit
I bought this as part of a birthday gift for my 9 year old daughter, who loves science. At the beginning her dad helped her with the hovercraft. She doesn’t want to wait for the next project. She used the motor to create a few more projects by herself. I’m happy when she shows me her independent projects. Her favorite one is using the little motor to draw on the round cards. Wish they come with more cards. But I cut more for her so she can invite friends to try. At the beginning when you first open the kit, it smells like chemical for a few minutes. So I took everything in the garage. Other than that, it’s really a smart and simple kit that Elementory kids can do it themselves.
