The best lemon bakewell tarts in the UK; i use them as snacks. I can clear 2 tarts a time 😉 quite filling on the stomach rue, and baked lovely, right amount of everything in all the right places 😋

These are really disappointing. They look great and well packaged. However, the overriding flavour is almond! (I bought the cherry ones also and they have very little almond flavour?) The pastry is very soggy also. All of the edges ended up on the floor just trying to get it out of the foil case! There was no consistency at all, it just breaks/flops into your mouth and dissolves. I can't even give them to guests as it's just embarrassing and messy. I won't be purchasing again nor recommend I'm afraid. Unless you have no teeth or taste buds??

I got these as I love anything lemon flavoured, one review I read said 'a strong lemon flavour', sadly it wasn't as lemony as they stated, a bit too sweet for me. So won't be purchasing again..I'm giving them to family when they visit, with a nice cuppa.
