I needed a phone to take on a few campouts and a trip to Alaska, one that I wasn't going to be worried about getting rained on or dropped on a trail. This one checked all the boxes! First I want to tell you what this phone is not. It is not a flagship phone, it is not a high powered phone, and it doesn't have the best camera in the world. What the phone lacks in the high end features, it makes up in the rugged and power requirements. Just on a normal use day of checking emails and listening to music I can go two days between charging. Three days if I just have it in my pocket and just send a few text messages. It is rugged, so far surviving two campouts, one in the cold wastelands of Kasasa in January. I have dropped it, sat on it, it has tumbled across the parking lot, and i have stepped on it. Being a little accident prone, this phone was made for people like me. Setup was easy, I just added it to my Wi-Fi network, logged into my Google Account, and did a transfer from my old phone to this one. Then installed my sim card from T Mobile and had no issues.
