Still sharp
I have been using these knives daily, for a couple of months. They are still sharp. Good knives for a modest budget

Sharp! Great starter set!
Time will tell as I have just received as a gift! Extremely sharp and well made. Pleased they can be sharpened one day if needed!

Sharp and handy
These knives are super sharp, finally, as I have bought chef's knives before, with great ratings, and they were not particularly sharp. These 3 sizes are all I need to fullfill my cutting and chopping needs. The feel of the handle is slightly edgy, rather than a more rounded handle, but does provide an excellent grip.Happy cooking!

Great value, very sharp, average build quality
I have had this knife set for about 2 years and used it quite a bit. Having used a number of good knives over the years, I will say these are quite sharp. I think the chef and pairing knives are sharpened to about a 15" angle. Both have maintained their edges extremely well (I use a steel and don't abuse my knives). The edges have a lot of "bite". On an individual basis:Pairing knife:At first the pairing knife seemed a bit weird to me, because it has a longer than normal blade and is fairly narrow. But I got used to it and it has become my main pairing knife. If you need to do delicate work with a pairing knife, this one might feel a bit awkward.Serrated knife:The serrated knife is incredibly sharp and perfect for cutting tomatoes, but I have to admit I haven't used it much. I need a 10" serrated bread knife (I use the Victorinox Fibrox 10" serrated bread knife) but otherwise don't have much use for serrated knives.Chef's knife:The chef knife has strengths and weaknesses. It is *very* sharp and handles a lot of tasks well. Mine has two main drawbacks: (1) The construction of the handle is a bit imprecise, as is commonly found on "value" knives. You can feel the knife tang, which is not perfectly flush with the handle. (2) The spine of the blade (the back edge) is very sharp, which makes it uncomfortable for extended use, depending on your grip. The overall build quality isn't close to being in the same league as my Mac Professional 8 1/2" Chef's knife, which has flawless fit and finish, an ultra comfortable pakkawood handle that feels perfectly smooth, a much more comfortable spine, and a noticeably thinner blade that improves cutting performance (but at a much higher price).Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. I wouldn't use it in a commercial kitchen, but for home use these knives have performed well, have held up beautifully, and are a good value. But to be clear, there are definitely better knives out there.

3 piece set suitable for almost any situation!
Great set of knifes! Seems to be of good quality, will last a long time. after reviewing multiple knifes, this is by far the sharpest & most durable for most cooking situations. 5 stars!

Nice knives at a nice price, great introductory set
I really love these knives! This is a great starter set for a home chef like me. Sometimes you don’t realize just how dull your knives really are until you get a new set! I’ve been using these for several months and they’re still quite sharp. I don’t use them daily, but several times a week, and I’m just now thinking I should hone the edges. I have small hands and I find them comfortable to use.
