Beautiful Product!
The product was packaged well and shipped promptly. Although the assembly instructions could have been more thorough, it was very easy to assemble and there is a single metal hook built into the back of the fountain (top center) to use for hanging. (This was actually a selling point for me. One of the other fountains I looked at on Amazon had two "V" openings for hanging that weren't level.) If you use a screw to hang it, the unit will sit flush against the wall. It isn't stated in the instructions, but the peg located on the front side of the inside of the main water bowl is to mount the light ring. There is no way to hide the black electrical cord that I could find so it is hanging out of the main water bowl off to the side. I will likely purchase a bronze cord cover and run it down the center of the wall under the fountain. As for the sound... I purchased this fountain to provide a relaxing sound atmosphere on our deck. The sound produced by the fountain is very pleasant albeit a little louder than I anticipated. I filled the lower main bowl to the inside rim, approximately 1" from the top edge. I used Britta filtered water--it took about 3 pitchers full. I also added an enzyme to prevent yuckiness but safe for animals (just in case). I found that, on average, I add another pitcher full every other day, dependent on the weather. There is a little splash out so don't hang this fountain above anything that shouldn't get wet. The biggest challenge was drilling into the exterior brick wall! I was using a cordless 20V drill which has more than enough torque to do the job. I purchased a masonry drill bit which corresponded to the masonry screw I purchased to hang the fountain. Here is my big advice: I just grabbed a masonry bit and didn't really make any comparisons on price, brand, etc. After 10 minutes of continuous drilling, I was barely 1/4" in! Called the hardware store to ask what I was doing wrong. They suggested slowing the drill down and applying light pressure. A little better but getting nowhere fast. Back to the hardware store. It turns out that, in each box of masonry screws, a bit is provided. The salesperson dug around in the drawer of screws and pulled it out and GAVE it to me. Major improvement! LESSON LEARNED: Get a decent masonry drill bit to save yourself 2 hours of drilling time.

Beautiful Lion Fountain!
UM it’s perfect!!! I do refill it every 3 days here in Florida in the shade, pump does need to be cleaned out regularly to avoid clogging and burning out. I added rocks to mine which gave more of the look I was going for. Product itself is heavy but adding rocks made it really heavy so make sure you use the correct materials for wherever you hang. This is not black it’s a bronze close to off black brownish color. The light on the inside is constantly on when fountain is plugged in and has a yellow warm light which is such a cute touch at night! We covered the black cord with cord cover to our outlet for a more seamless look. Worth every penny love the sound of the water walking up yo our front door and get many compliments. Hope someone finds this helpful!

Wonderful but elevate the pump off the floor of bottom bowl.
Absolutely wonderful !!! A couple of hints. I find small pieces of debris (leaves, bugs, etc ) fall/blowen into the bottom pool where the pump sits. The debis sinks to the bottom and is pulled into the grate/screen which can block the flow of water. Keep a small toothbrush available to clean off the grate where the water is sucked into the pump. An even better solution is to put a small rock, or something (1/4 to 1/2 inches high) under the pump. This way when the pump is sucking in the water it doesn't pull in the debris that is sitting on the bottom.. The LED light really gives the fountain a unique appearance after dark. The sound of the flowing water is really relaxing. This fountain is a great addition to my deck.

Lightweight, LED lights always on
It's important to connect the wiring properly between the lights and the water pump. I had to re-do mine a few times before I got it right. Also, the middle drip hole does not work very well. It hardly drips at all. But it is pretty and sounds great! The honeybees love it, too!

A Pleasant Addition
I must admit I was wary when I ordered this; The price seemed too low and I wondered how sturdy it might really be. And then it arrived. Apparently the weight problems mentioned by other reviewers have been resolved as the shipping charges seemed appropriate. I was concerned that the large box had been substantially smashed in on two sides but, when removed, the fountain was in good shape. Initially I was perplexed by the instructions which for a pedestal and bowl fountain but it took only a bit of thought to conquer the problem. (Rather than try to mount the circulating pump through the hole in the back, one brings the hose through the front and lays the pump in the basin of the fountain.) To test it I hung it in my kitchen and allowed it to run for several hours as much to clean it as to verify that the mechanics all worked. Next test was to mount it on the side of the garage that forms part of the walls for my front garden. The only problem here was that there was no adjacent electrical outlet but it was an easy task to drill a hole through the wall and access an outlet in the garage. This is a West facing wall and can heat up to above 120 so I wondered how the resin might survive. Happily, after noon, the sun puts that area in shade and I've had no problems. Aesthetically it makes an attractive focal point for what was a dull area. I'm considering using a dry brush and some of the paint the colour of the garage to highlight the piece. If I have one modes complaint it's that the water tends to run out rather than shoot out the lions mouth but, lacking that, it produced a pleasant water feature noise that accentuates what is really an entrance to my home. Several guests have commented on it and I'm well pleased. Given the price and ease of installation and final effect, this is a great addition as well as a great buy.One further suggestion. If you live in an area prone to high heat you will need to replenish the water supply at least daily. Also, when filling it the first time do NOT attempt to fill the basin completely. There's a opening in the rear that keeps the water from overflowing from the front.

Pump does not adjust to slow the water and no screen for bottom so you will refill daily
Very pretty fountain and easy to hang, but not for the price tag. It looked like it had a green farina in the picture but it came just plain brown. The pump is supposed to be adjustable but it’s not. Because the water can’t be slowed down and because there is no screen mesh covering the reservoir so the water bounces right out onto the patio so you have to refill every other day.

With minor modifications, I LOVE IT!
I didn't love the color, but a little copper spray paint and antiquing and it's perfect! It's super light, and mostly easy to install. The only problem I had was the tubing was coated in thick plasticy overspray from the finish. It just took a minute with a pair of pliers to break it up and strip it off the tubing. Once I did that, it fit easily on the pump. After my changes, this is exactly what I was looking for! A cheap fountain that looks fabulous, and will be easy to move with me.

Nice Looking Fountain Until the Paint Starts Peeling
Update: after only a few months of outdoor use, the paint is coming off in sheets. The paint drops into the fountain and clogs the pump. Do not buy this fountain. Original review: The fountain is only two years old, and the paint is peeling off. It is starting to look terrible. It will go into the trash soon. I do not recommend this fountain because of the peeling paint issue.
