I don’t usually write reviews. Even less often a good one. But this sweatshirt for $40 is an absolute steal. I was expecting cheap and not good. I have an alpine zip up but I don’t like it much as the zipper leaks a ton of cold air. This sweatshirt is 10x better than my alpine. It is better fabric. The front pocket zips on both sides and is wind proofed with fabric lining. Amazing design. The material is thick and warm. I’m also going to wear this without the included pads as it’s just a super nice sweatshirt that is warmer than the average sweatshirt. The fit is spot on to a normal sided sweatshirt. The thing is a bit awkward to get on and off but you get used to it and there is not much that could really be done about that. I feel this is literally one of the best deals I have ever gotten on Amazon and I buy a lot is crap here.

First off, this is a great price point. Under $50 for an armored sweatshirt is excellent. But then there’s the quality. The fabric is thick and feels soft to the touch. At first it felt awkward putting it on, but when it’s on it just feels like I’m in a normal hoodie. The zippers for the pockets are not cheap. Thick and durable feeling. The fit is excellent. I took an XL. I’m 6’0 215, and broader shoulders. My normal size for a hoodie is XL so the sizing for me is exact. I’m sitting here with it on while giving this review and is so comfortable I’ve decided to buy one in another color as well.

This hoodie makes me more confident as a newer rider. I feel protected and comfortable. I had previously ordered another brand of padded jacket. It fit extremely tight. Most of the riding clothes on Amazon seem to be unisex so are not made for thick or muscular guys. With the prior jacket experience, I ordered 2 sizes up. Normally I wear an XL, but got the 3XL this time. The bigger sized hoodie is loose in the gut but just right in the armpits, chest, and arms. The first time I rode at highway speeds, the aglets started hitting my helmet and scared me. My fault for not tucking them in. The hoodie is not overly hot. I have ridden with no discomfort in temps up to 87 degrees. The armor doesn't flop around in the hoodie. It is not overly stiff, but you need to work it to make it fit your body comfortably in the elbows and shoulders. This is a great hoodie that I wear on 90 percent of my rides. It would be 5 stars if not for the unisex fitting.

I was looking for some gear that was a little more stealth for when I take my bike to school and thought I would give this a shot, since I have other BYKR gear that I did like. The first thing you need to know is that the sweatshirt itself is incredibly good quality. I am amazed that it is not more money. It is true to size. The second thing you need to know is that it is incredibly awkward to put on and take off due to the CE armor, but I think that is a very fair trade off. The armor however is not the most comfortable when doing non-motorcycle activities, but when you are riding, there is zero issue. Now for thermal properties, aka is this going to keep you warm. This is actually not the easiest to answer. If you are not on your bike on a somewhat warm day (70 F) you are going to be very hot when not riding, but very comfortable when you are. For temperatures around 50 F, things start to get a bit chilly, mostly because the sweatshirt does not break much wind, so air will just go right through. So should you get this? It really depends. If you are looking for a secondary piece of gear that offers some protection and is convenient for short rides, absolutely. If you are a beginner and do not already have a proper motorcycle jacket, I would recommend on holding off.

Im usually an xl and based on the reviews being true to size, thats what i ordered. However upon trying it on, i was swimming in this...arms were too long and just too big overall...i returned it and ordered a Large instead. The material is nice and cozy, although the back pad was put on backwards and most of the pads were curled from shipping...anyway they arent really gripes just observations, but i know i will like this when i get the right size... Update: just received the sweater in the Large size and it fit how i wanted it, however this particular one had tiny specs of oil spot in the front that is noticeable and the front was pilly. The curled padding from shipping is easily corrected buy massaging it and mold it to your body...i had to rework the pads to the desire shape which wasnt hard to do. I still think its a great value for 40 bucks however i wish it was perfect like how i received the XL the first time. Like alot of people said in their reviews, it is hard to put on and even harder to pull off especially if you get sweaty underneath...but worth the effort for the safety and want to look casual when you ride. They should make a zip up hoodie version with padding...that would make it a lot easier to put on and take off.

VERY comfy, I wish I would’ve gotten a size bigger (I got XL) but I like baggy shirts/hoodies but I’m 6’1” and around 200lb and it fits good, not too snug, not too baggy. They have button style straps to strap to your belt so it doesn’t ride up your back at higher speeds, I’ve worn it while on the highway when it was 30° and I was warm the whole ride. The weight is a good quality kind of weight, not way too heavy but you can definitely tell you’re wearing it. I love the style and the breathability, it had great warmth and good pads. I’d definitely buy it again!

Fits great. Ordered 3XL I’m a usually 3XL so it’s true to size. (300lbs 5’9” tall) padded and these are pretty warm lol. Have yet to test out on the ride.

Super bon hoodie Les + : super confortable, on ne sent presque pas les protections quand on le porte, très bien ventilé lorsqu'on roule pas chaud du tout, les protections ne sont presque pas visibles vue de l'extérieur et les attaches sont très utiles pour éviter que le bas remonte dans le vent. Les - : une odeur très désagréable d'ammoniaque lors du déballage mais une fois lavé et porté quelques fois ne sent plus du tout. Gros point négatif sur les zipper de la poche à l'avant qui sont de très mauvaise qualité, ne mettez rien de grande valeur dans cette poche vous risquez de le perdre. N'oubliez pas de prendre une taille plus grand je porte du XXXL normalement et le XXXXL est la grandeur dont j'ai besoin. Sinon dans l'ensemble très bon produit, pas du tout désagréable a porter et fait changement des manteaux de moto en cuir ou en kevlar qui se ressemblent tous. Look différent et agréable. Suggestions : au lieu de zipper sur la poche en avant je recommende des velcros qui même s'ils sont moins esthétique et pratique quand on a des guants reste plus efficace que les zipper pour garder les objets a l'intérieur de la poche. Je recommande le produits mais pensez a améliorer la fermeture de la poche pour éviter une catastrophe (du genre perdre votre téléphone ou objets de valeur sur la route)

Feels comfortable and has armour, very warm (sweating just standing wearing it) and looks great, only issue is zipper pocket on the front, one of the zippers popped off in the first time unzipping it and will not attach again, kinda disappointing but doesn’t effect how the hoodie protects you.
