Well after a slow shipping, it finally arrived. The Studds Downtown Matte finish helmet. Let me go through all the points one by one... What I liked... 1. The matt finish helmet looks very good cosmetically 2. The padding all around the cheeks and head is and feels pretty good. 3. The quick release to unclip the helmet is very handy. 4. The switch for engaging and disengaging the sun visor (secondary visor inside the helmet is very handy and u dont have to take the helmet to engage the sun visor 5. There are 3 vents on the helmet...2 natural ones on the back lined with wire mesh and one is in form of a toggle switch on the peak of the helmet. One good thing is that the rain doesn't seep in through the vents. 6. Clear ISI marking and Commercial License number on the back of the helmet. What I didn;t like.... 1. Since it is a half helmet the rain does hit on the face even when u pull the plexiglass visor completely down which can be inconvinient in heavy rains 2. The helmet doesnt fit inside my Yamaha Ray ZR. 3. It doesnt have a locking device so cant be locked on the bike (carry it every time u have to go shopping) :-((( 4. It doesnt come with any warranty card or anything. So I dont know how to avail the warranty. (Contact the seller or Amazon) These 4 points loses one star off the review

This product is very classy with unique design, the way it looks in images, it is far more better than that in reality when you hold it in your hand. Build quality is amazing and wearing this will definately make a diffrence compared to other helmet. If you have a budget upto 2k then this is the best openface helmet in its segment with multiple color option. Some keys point to consider while purchasing: 1. L size is good enough for normal face so dont go for XL unnecessary as it will look very bulky. 2.No provision for locking like any other open face helmet so you have to carry it with you(but its worth carrying as design is very elegant.

Extra large on the crown area. Looks like an astraunaut helmet 😂

Overall the helmet is good and comfortable.. but sun visor is not at all usefull as it does not cover your eyes enough.. and due that it causes disorientation and dizzeness.. do not buy it if you need to use sun visor..

Best in comfort! Best value for money! Excellent quality! I have been using Studds since I started riding and they never had any quality issues.

I like the helmets overall appearance and quality of materials. The fit was tight enough.
