A good quality hygienic steamer. The heat level is good. I like that it’s a stool and not something you have to squat over top of. Great product for postpartum.

I absolutely wished I could have enjoyed this product; but upon first firing it up and letting the 'kettle' of water warm, I noticed a smell akin to burning teflon. I turned it off, wiped down everything, tried again, same smell. I took it outside onto my porch, wiped down everything again with a a focus on the hot plate towards the bottom, turned it on and noticed the same smell.At that point, I left it on. It would auto-shut off pretty often, but i'd keep turning it back on; hoping the smell would burn itself off. I did this off and on over a couple of months. Unfortunately it still smells like burning teflon when I turn on the heat setting.I'm sensitive to smells, and the burning teflon smell was enough I couldn't really use it sadly.

I liked that the v-steam was simple to set up and use. It’s a nice way to set aside time to focus on my body and relax. It’s really a dynamic meditative experience with physical sensation and I felt a real sense of calm and warmth afterwards. I also love that this is made by a small business. There are other cheaper options on Amazon but this one has a noticeable personal touch that I appreciate, especially for something intimate. After buying this, Leiamoon sends you more info about steaming and welcomes you into this whole community of women who use the product with a Facebook group, insta - it’s a sisterhood I didn’t even realize was there :)
