I love samphire so much I thought it would be lovely to have a jar or two pickled in brine. However, I just opened one to try and it tastes absolutely awful! It has a terrible chemical taste and tastes nothing like samphire. It says to be fair that it's just samphire pickled in vinegar and salt but I'm sorry its really not for me at all. I've just wasted over £10 on something I really will not be able to eat. Im afraid it will be going into the bin. Sorry, I would never buy this again. Also bought the red onions which are not red, they're white! They taste nice but one jar was already leaking and the seal was broken. Will not buy any of these again I'm afraid. Wanted to write a separate review for each pickle but it's come up on the samphire one I just wrote. These onions also cost over £10 .

I love this product but I am too scared to open the bubble wrap because of the evil black goo seeping out. Hopefully it's just one evil jar. It looks from the reviews like a lot of other customers are getting one jar of evil goo one jar of pickled samphire. I would prefer 2 pickled samphire 0 evil death goo

The picture is misleading the fluid looks pink but it’s a brown colour, they aren’t very nice either disappointing to be honest

Bonjour très déçue, ce n’est pas de la salicorne. Ce sont des feuilles et des tiges sans goût ! Ne recommande pas du tout. Dommage pas ouvert de suite sinon j’aurais retourné le produit
