Product Description The complete 4th series of Lost with a whole host of extras, including bloopers, behind the scenes footage and never-before seen deleted scenes: Audio Commentaries Lost on Location The Island Backlot: Lost in Hawaii The Right to Bear Arms Soundtrack of Survival Lost Bloopers Deleted Scenes Course of the Future: The Definitive Flash Forward The Oceanic Six: A Conspiracy of Lies The Freighter Folk Offshore Shoot Easter Eggs .co.uk Review Anybody whose faith in Lost was beginning to waiver will surely appreciate the fourth season of the show. For this is Lost firing on all cylinders, showing a willingness to answer a few more questions than usual, while not being afraid to deepen elements of the mystery of Ocean 815. The big new idea for Lost season four, as introduced in the cliffhanger at the end of the previous run, is flash-forwards, where we see some of the characters after they?ve left the island. This freshens the show immensely, and gives the writers some much-needed new meat to chew on. As a result, characters are more convincingly fleshed out, and more fun is had with the narrative in general. There are still a few of the ailments that have hindered Lost in the past. Whenever Matthew Fox?s Jack takes centre-stage, for instance, it still tends to be an episode to forget, while one or two sub-plots are allowed to meander a little more than they should. Yet it?s a transitionary season, moving the show towards its final two years by beginning to fill in some of the blanks we?ve been lacking. And with a cliffhanger at the end that, once more, has the potential to firmly pull the rug from under your feet, it?s very clear that Lost has plenty more tricks up its sleeve to come. A terrific season of an increasingly bold show. --Simon Brew

Lost season 4 is excellent
Following "Lost" from the outset has become a bit of an obsession and due to Virgin losing the show to Sky I now eagerly await the release of season five later in the year trying to avoid all the spoilers out there! This season picks up from the stunning flash forward ending of season three and gallops along at a fair old pace. The return of Michael to wind-up his story is superbly orchestrated as is the introduction and involvement of the new characters. Familiar faces appear in various scenarios and the intensity of the whole season develops to another superb conclusion. Established charecters like Syid, Sun,and even Clare finally get some stuff to do where other seasons have perhaps given dominance to the jack, kate and sawyer charecters. The shocking demise of one of my favourite and, one of the most interesting charecters leads me to hope we still get a chance to find out what really happened but with the feeling of conspiracy building "Lost" hopefully will continue to provide more answers than questions now and with Michael Emmersons amazing performances each episode I can't wait for Christmas to come round again so I can watch season five!!

“I may be in a mental hospital, but I know you're dead..... ” [Hugo "Hurley" Reyes: S4 Ep1]
This box set covers the fourth series of the 2004-2010 TV series in which some passengers of a plane crash find themselves stranded on a mysterious Island. Having been informed that the plane wreckage had been located and everyone died in the crash we then learnt that rescue was on the way [confused -you will be], and with the final scenes showing Jake and Kate off the island sometime in the future, where will this take us now? There is an excellent recap 8’15” which explains the story so far -in a dry humorous way [on disc 1], which is well worth watching to get you in the mood for this. Quite engrossing from the start this maintains a steady pace as the new twist shows future [?] scenes as well as the usual flashbacks and current events as they happen. The 14 episodes are held on 6 discs which are in individual slim-line cases within a stiff card outer carton. The first 4 discs hold the episodes and open to a menu offering English and many European languages, then goes to main menu offering play all, set-up and some extras. The final two discs hold a host of extras. Rated as a 15 these discs do contain some graphic mass grave scenes, sexual references and some ‘horror’ moments.Starting strong, I did feel this flag ever so slightly in the middle as the story arc feels like over-reaching and goes military commando or ‘Movies for Men’ on you, even so, this still remains a good piece of **** entertainment.

Keep on loving Lost
Lost is the kind of series you need to keep up with - if you miss a few episodes you'll never pick up the threads adequately. It also seems to be the kind of series you either love or hate.So having watched the first three series the suspense was there, as was the desire to watch this the fourth series. And it doesn't disappoint - lots of unexpected twists in the tale, a few faces that seem to keep cropping up, more and more questions about just what the island is really all about and why certain people are so concerned to maintain control of it, and so on.If you haven't seen the previous three series then watching this in isolation is probably only going to be confusing. But if you have seen the previous three then stay with the story, series four is a great progression of it.Now I'm looking forward to series five!

i hope you like edge of your seat white knuckle rides!!
i had never been the kind of person to get into any series whatsoever, because i figured that if you where to miss an episode for any reason, youd be quite lost as to what was going on, but 3 months ago my fiancee purchased lost series one on dvd, i became so engrossed in it that as soon as the first series had finished i ran out to buy the second series, then the third series and finally the fourth series, becoming more and more addicted to its every changing mood, twist of plot and continually deepening story, there where times when i thought that the story was thinning out a little, but the fourth series of lost re-ignited my interest and kept me coming back for more, i soon found myself watching an entire disk per night and still wanting more, and when i had watched the entire fourth series i went back and watched every single behind the scenes special on the disk!! truly a mind bending, reality warping adventure that i dare you to not totally enjoy, you will soon become addicted and find yourself scouring the internet in search for the next series on dvd, and searching for any juicy interview and sign of leaked storline. i absolutely loved it and im positive you will too!!!

Lost Season 4
Definitely the best season of LOST, I'm pre-ordering it even though I watched every episode (bar 'Confirmed Dead') for the following reasons:1. Contains the best ever episode, 'The Constant', which is frankly brilliant, and an amazing showcase of Henry Ian Cusick's acting ability.2. Lots of mysteries are finally resolved, especially the flashforward at the end of season 3. There are more flashforwards than flashbacks, and finally the flashbacks have true relevance to the plot.3. Ben, and Keamy's interplay is fantastic.4. Not a single episode was below par, and I believe that all of them are actually better than the whole of season 2.LOST Season 4 was seriously good television, and if Season 2 put you off and you never rejoined, I'd advise it. You are so missing out.

Will not play on a computer
If you are planning to watch this on PC/laptop, don't bother - it doesn't work. The 4 episode discs don't play, but the 2 bonus discs do. Never had this problem with DVDs before, so I presume it must be some unusual copy protection feature. However, they play fine on a normal DVD recorder and I'm looking forward to watching the rest of this excellent series.
