Elfen Lied

Just finished watching Elfen Lied and it was fantastic. Well worth the time and money.

I was unfamiliar with this anime before I bought it. In case you're the same and want to know if this anime is worth watching or appropriate, here are the things to know:Has a good solid story. It's only a 13-episode anime with 1 bonus OVA episode.This anime has a LOT of blood, people murdered in gruesome ways, and people being tortured by psychopaths. It makes shows like Higurashi look like Disney films.This anime has a LOT of female nudity, full-body. It doesn't have any real male nudity beyond what you'd see in most other slice-of-life anime. It doesn't have any actual sex, but one particular scene is highly suggestive of child molestation.There are small moments of comedy, but for the most part this is a dark story that sticks mostly to its gory plotline. If this sounds like your kind of show, then you will probably love this anime (as did I). If it sounds horrifying or too sensitive, then you'd best avoid this one.

Elfen Lied is my top favorite anime of all time! I love that you can make it Japanese audio with English subtitles too, I can't stand English dubs especially for this anime. The quality is literally the best I've seen for this anime and I'm super happy with my purchase!
