These were exactly the knitting needles I needed at the time. They are smoothly crafted and the yarn slides off them easily. I like them!

I can be funny about wood that is unfinished or roughly finished, so I was leery about these. They are wonderfully smooth and of fine wood. The finial detail is elegant.

I tried these needles out to see how they compared with my aluminum ones and they are better for not allowing the yarn to slip as much. They are a little thin, though, but I like them equally. Very good value and worth a shot if you're a beginner knitter because I find these to be a lot less frustrating!
