I sort of maintain a commercial pool for a nonprofit. It's an outdoor pool so certain parts are susceptible to corrosion or generally getting lost since the pool is seasonal and some parts (like railings) are taken out in the winter. We nearly failed spring inspection because one railing was a tad loose due to it lacking this tension piece, probably lost when the railing was taken out last fall. I bought this hoping these would be more or less universal and it seems they are.

As a replacement part I found that the screws were to long for my inground pool ladder, one of the anchors though still did not go flush once set in place but still did the job of locking the ladder in place. The other anchor thread stripped when tightening it, which is disappointing as the nature of the anchor needs to have strength in order for the anchor to move up and lock the ladder in place.

The bolts are not stainless steel at rest which is unacceptable
