I opted to try this brand in place of another higher priced supplement of the same kind. I have no previous experience using pearl powder so I can’t say what it should or shouldn’t taste/smell like. This brand has a little bit of a chalky taste with a hint of the flavor you get from bitting a finger nail. It’s not too strong or unpleasant and I can’t say how they process their pearls. I’ve rad that the best way is through hydraulic crushing. I’ve been using this powder as a face mask, a toothpaste mixed with coconut oil, And also as a supplement added to any milky drink. As a face mask, it’s amazing and exfoliates too well sometimes. I’ve had to learn to be more gentle with my scrubbing. It’s pretty exciting to see the old flakey dry layers roll off. My face feels so clear and clean after. It does take a bit to wash off your skin so after rinsing, I use a bit of face oil and a warm wet towel to help gently absorb it off. I try to mask with it once a month bc more than that is overkill. As a toothpaste… wow!! So simple. I keep a small tub of coconut oil next to my sink and I add half a scoop (provided) to the container and dip my dry brush in there to pick up some oil and some powder. I don’t measure just use about equal parts and not too much so it doesn’t go funky from dipping my brush in. My teeth feel clean and not over abused the way conventional toothpaste or overpriced natural pastes have done to me in the past. This is my personal experience but I think it could be helpful to mention that I began brushing with it after I started feeling pain and sensitivity in a previously drilled and filled tooth. My tooth feels almost 100 percent back to normal. I totally attribute the remedy to this powder and the occasional use of 12 cell salt homeopathy. Lastly, as a supplement, I haven’t used it often enough to notice any changes but that’s not what it’s marketed as so I’m not at all bothered. I’m sure it helped in some form to take it orally alongside the topical use on my teeth. ** I just thought of a good way to describe the smell: it’s similar to when you rub smooth beach stone pebbles together.

I must say I love this product!!!! almost every single thing I get hooked into purchasing as far as skin remedies 99% do not work however this is an excellent product. It really did make my skin soft and young looking. I will purchase it again.! which is very rare usually it doesn't work so I never get it again lol!!!

I love this! My husband stole it from me had to order another. I put some in my nighttime moisturizer and WOW what a difference. Is great as a teeth whitening as well. My new favorite product!!!

Using this as an alternative to face powder compacts that are full of talc and other unnecessary ingredients. I use a small brush to dab over concealer and then a bigger brush to buff it in.

As I step into the senior years I find those age spots are slowly becoming part of my face. I stumbled across this pearl powder & love it. I use it with a dark spot remover cream & must say I do see the spots lightening. We all spend so much getting hooked into all the products that promise us a youthful look, this one might be one of my better purchases. I hope it continues to lighten my spots as it has been. Oh I also mix it with my moisturizer too for use all over my face - makes my skin feel soft & look glowy. Hope this works for you too

I have mixed the pearl powder into my night cream. After the first night, I have notice a huge change. My acne is all but disappeared. My line are less noticeable. In the summertime, I have oily skin. It has controlled the oil on my face. I am 54 years old & wish I knew about this sooner. Highly recommended
