I bought this for my brother whose hernia was bothering him after his colon surgery. He stated that this belt really helps him on the job. Said that it is well made, comfortable, and pretty durable.

Great ostomy belt! Having the whole cut made it so easy and fit perfectly. Great if you also have a hernia.

This is rugged and looks like it will last a while without folding over. There's too much velcro that gets stuck to itself and sometimes even to my bad. It's to wide and jabs into my pubic bone esp. when I sit down. It might work for you but it didn't work for me. Also, I'm going to need something that covers the stoma too, but that's not this product's fault.

The circular area around the stoma bulges out. It should remain flat/stable to keep the skin barrier firm against the abdomen. AND I am currently using 70 mm flange. If I was wearing 57 mm or 44 mm, there would be even less support for skin barrier. The wrap does help with hernia support, but the other issues make this band not usable.

The information on the package says "Made of extremely comfortable, skin friendly material". I have to strongly disagree. It is very stiff and uncomfortable to wear. I have to say the quality is well worth the money. It just needs to be more flexible.

I love this hernia belt. It has taken a lot of pain away that I had after my surgery. I have an ostomy on my right side and it’s also taken away some of the bulge that was there. 5stars definitely. Update: 8 month review I still love this hernia belt. I do have some issues with it though. It definitely works to protect stoma hernia. But because it’s not a full hernia belt, it only works so much. With a hernia no matter if you have a belt or not you cannot lift heavy objects, please don’t try. 2nd being that in a bigger guy with a bit of a belly it does roll at the top. I just turn it upside down so it won’t bother me all day.
