Beautiful even lines.
Once the pen is loaded, they are easy to use. The lines are even. I have not bisqued my plate yet, so I cannot comment on how the lines hold up when bisqued and glaze fired.

Glaze Ink runs
Did not work for my purposes. I had 1st graders paint with glaze on preglazed white tiles. I wanted to use the black pen to add small details. The black pen glaze ran like crazy when it touched the unfixed glaze, and even when it didn’t. The attached photo shows “mom” written with the pen and what happened before I could fire it. Perhaps it would work ok on bisque ware.

It works very well
I had bought under glaze pencils but they didn’t work even close to as well as this did. Nice and dark very precise for drawing or writing on greenware or bisque ware. Well worth the money.

I like them but they bleed a little
Overall I really like these underglaze pens.I used them on a few bisque pieces and they wrote smoothly enough and came out bold and dark which I liked.I did find that they bled a little. I think because of the clay I used, there were little lines in the clay, and the underglaze seeped into them/ran along them. I would like to try to use these on greenware next which I think might help avoid this problem. They also leave a waxy residue on them, so when you glaze over them or around them, they maintain their lines which is nice.

not able to make fine lines
I was looking fora pen to make fine lines with as I was having trouble using a brush. This was definitely not it. I use it on greenware and not only is it a wide tip but the underglaze spread like mad
