I bought this book after reading another book by the same author about scripture reading and meditation because I really loved the style and heart of the author. This book did not disappoint as it dives into the the topic of prayer and also touches on many personal testimonies shared by the author. I really like how the book is laid out according to various topics and the prayers are simple yet powerful.

When I picked up this book I was very sad. I was feeling lost and alone.A friend recommended this book and I bought it. It made a real difference for me. I read all the prayers, and spoke the ones that related to my life. I found them extremely powerful. When I spoke the Prayer for Direction, I realized that I am not alone - that God has a path for me and however difficult my life might be right now, there is a plan for me and when I ask I will receive assistance and guidance.Suddenly in the darkness I feel some hope, and I know that as I continue to pray my pain will be transformed into joy.These powerful prayers made a real difference my healing.

I'm not Christian but I appreciate the power of prayers. This is an awesome book of prayer. Some days when I prayer I feel like I say the same thing over and over. This book I use as help and guidance when looking for the right words to say. I incorporate some of the prayers in my daily prayers. You will be blessed.
