These KooK latte mugs are absolutely stunning! The ceramic stoneware has a lovely artisanal feel, and each mug is unique. Decent, somewhat pretty, albeit smallish tea/coffee cups...
Dunno why, but I was sort of expecting more from these. They don't have the handmade look that I thought they might. Unfortunately the cream colored one came with no pretty hint of caramel color around the rim, like the rest did. However, they're nice enough looking and would make a nice gift for someone who likes Asian style stuff, perhaps, since they have no handles and a sort of minimal look. I always leave room in my hot beverages for half and half and a splash of room temp water so I can drink it immediately, so for me, these mugs are never *too* hot to hold. I could definitely see how starting with scalding hot liquids would make them too hot, though. For me, the capacity is a bit on the small side (I guess I need to figure out how many oz my fave mug holds).. I prefer my cups of coffee to last a little longer. The unglazed part on the bottom of the mug isn't very pleasant to touch (for me).. Sort of gives me the same heebie-jeebie feeling of accidentally scraping silverware too hard on a plate. These weren't a hit with me, but it's mainly a personal preference thing... There's nothing wrong with them (although a few of mine came with dimples in the glaze).

Love the color, size, material. I do wish they were just a little bigger but now I can finish my cup of coffee while it's still hot.

Very nice
Love these cups. Use them daily as glasses instead of my Tupperware ones. Colorful, but not jarring.
