Practical, perfect size with adjustable strap , my wife loves it.

This review is against a background of extensive use of leather rucksacks over the years. This is the most uncomfortable I've ever had and least useful . Pros.It's nice and roomy, made of 100%leather , looks Good . Cons: The straps are rather thin for a large bag and therefore, not suitable for heavy items or shopping; a bunch of bananas and a one large orange combined was enough to make it heavy and uncomfortable, causing strain at the back of the neck , it like carrying a sack of potatoes. Additionally, there is a risk of straining the seams of the straps where they meet the top part if anything heavy is I the bag so it is used for relatively light things that need space, such as clothes and iight shopping ( it was perfect for a large pack of tortilla chips). The design of the straps also makes it uncomfortable ro carry as ; they are long and thin with too few holes to adjust the length in its current form - the rucksack ends up low slung touching the backside ( I'm 5'4"), and causing strain at the back of the neck even following attempts to shorten the straps to fit the back, it is uncomfortable. Conclusion Uncomfortable, not fit for purpose in context of the size , comfort and ? weight capacity., Some rucksacks are ergonomically designed to put strain off the back- not this one. The straps are too thin for the size of the bag. The leather is not particularly thick for the size of the rucksack and could strain if heavy things put in. The bag is made for fashion not function. May be more suited to a tall person or get more holes punched in the straps. The manufacture should test the weight capacity it can handle in view of the above..
