I had never heard of this Chinese/Hong Kong brand before. But after receiving the sunglasses, I was very impressed by the quality of the lenses and frames, especially at such an affordable price. Even the nifty box and pouch make you think you've spent a lot more money. I was also impressed by the styling: the 'Navigator' model gives you most of the advantages of the 'Aviator' style, but thankfully without making you look too much like a 'Top Gun' wannabe. These glasses certainly get Top Marks from me.

This is my second pair of these glasses. I really like the style and they offer decent UV protection. Unfortunately I dropped this pair on the floor and one of the lenses shattered into pieces when I was in Mexico. I think the glasses isn’t the best quality but they are cheap glasses so you get what you pay for. They do come with a nice box and glasses bag.

It's black Friday and i was looking at some Ray ban Caravan frames on offer, i've worked in optics for 30 years so i know about decent quality, whilst doing a search these came up for £15 and i thought i'd take a chance on them fully expecting to return them, well they've just arrived and they're really impressive for the cost, glass lenses and decent quality frames, nicely packaged, the lenses seem pretty good but of course they'll never bee as good as Rayban lenses in quality but are still very good, frame is comfortable and i'll be keeping them, i'm definitely glad i went with these, i've had Rayban caravans before and the small differences are definitely not worth paying out another £130 for really the name.

I purchased these sunglasses several months ago after losing a pair of expensive Ray Bans and swearing that I would never again spend more than £50 on something so easily lost or broken. Turns out the main reason Ray Bans and other expensive brands feel so much better than the usual "cheap" pairs is the solid metal frame and glass lenses. As these have both, I couldn't see any great difference in quality despite the Jim Halos being a fraction of the price. There is no polarisation on the glass-lensed pairs, but polarised isn't always best anyway. Overall these sunglasses are great value for money. They feel a lot more expensive than they are and the build quality is great.

These glasses are dangerous! They slipped from the box when opened and SHATTERED into tiny glass fragments! I’m lucky they weren’t on my face as I would have been blinded!

Product brilliant. Amazon driver not so much. First time just threw parcel up stairs of flat. Second time left outside without even knocking.

These are possibly the most comfortable sun spec's I have owned, and I am glad I have bought this pair. Decent old style, light wearing and good to see through and around with, especially whilst driving.

Can't be compared with Retro American Ray Ban but they are just as good as these Italian models. For $20 you get sunglasses with real glass lenses and not plastic which can be easily scratched, good finish, nice frame, the only small minus is these arms of The glasses is really difficult to fold up and in but with 1 click of silicone grease on each corner of the arms made a success, really happy with the purchase.

He comprado unas JIM HALO versión Sol Retro Cuadradas de espejo y otras con vidrios verde oscuro con marco dorado estilo Ray-Ban, pero estas tienen el diseño muy parecido a las American Optical y las Ralph Engineering de aviador, pero por un precio mucho menor obtienes el diseño y también la calidad del material: el vidrio. Las lentes actuales, incluso las de grandes marcas de moda con precios astronómicos son de materiales sintéticos plásticos con un índice de transmisión de la luza mucho más pobre que las de vidrio. Está claro que el plástico no se rompe tan fácilmente pero se ralla con nada. Y estas JIM HALO no se rallan tan fácilmente y, en comparación con unas Ray-Ban Caravan de policarbonato, que ya se me han rallado tras ponerlas boca abajo sobre una mesa, las Jim Halo no tienen ningún rasguño tras sacudir arena de playa donde habían caído con el dedo. No recomiendo realizar actividades donde puedas recibir impactos, lo digo por lo del vidrio. Y si se te caen se te van a romper, pero lo verás todo con mucha mejor claridad que a través de cualquier plástico.
