Great product all around
A lot of people complain about it not going back/forth or tilting over, both of these issues are caused by the user and easily fixed. It is necessary open all the way up and push down and lock in center pole; that is what caused it to fall over for me. Also, when it fell over it bent the hinge next to the sprinkler head just a touch. A simple ply back over by finger fixed it fine. This is a heavy duty sprinkler made better than expected for the price. Bought 2 and will be buying 2 more. I don't usually write reviews, but felt like this sprinkler was getting a bad rap, it really is superior to the others I have bought.

Poor design
I bought this sprinkler after my septic system had to be replaced and I had a ton of grass to grow. I bought the stand/sprinkler combo thinking I’ll be moving the sprinkler less and while that’s true the real problem is in the sprinkler head design. The mechanism that controls the the stop block to stop the sprinkler from going in one direction sending it in another direction is comprised of two springs, a pin, and two metal parts. The pin that holds this assembly together faces downwards and doesn’t have a pin to hold it in place. With the oscillation of the head and gravity working against it the assembly constantly falls apart.I was able to find the parts each time it gave up, but it’s very difficult to figure out how it goes back together. I would look up this product each time and zoom in on the head in an attempt to figure it out.I’m assuming this pin is glued in at the factory, but it’s only a matter of time before it quits! Pay the extra money for a more thought out product!

Works well with the proper amount of water volume. In-line valves can restrict the flow needed.
UPDATE: 6/18/25I have confirmed that the issue with the sprinkler not switching back and forth was in fact my water pressure, or more so, the lack of volume of water. I had a number of easy off valves and quick-connects in the line going to this sprinker. The quick-connects really choked off the volume of water that could be fed to the sprinkler. I have since redone my water lines and now, with a hose going directly from the wall to the sprinker, it operates flawlessly.Since this was a user issue and not necessarily a defect in the unit, I have added a star back, bringing the unit up to 4-stars.------------------------INITIAL REVIEW:The first notable item is that the unit isn't truly a 360° unit (unless you take off the bump-stops on the neck of the unit, and that's not noted anywhere, nor is it easy to do). It's more like 300-330° and that's even called out in the single page that accompanies the unit. The second notable item is that this particular unit requires quite a bit of water pressure to operate. I don't have an exact PSI rating of my water line, but I know that it's higher than most. I suppose it could potentially be my hose's inner diameter, but I'm not entirely convinced. Nor am I willing to replace a 50' heavy duty hose that cost just as much or more than this unit. What I can say is that it does "usually" have jussssst enough water pressure to flip the switch and go back the other direction. But I have gone out on occasion and it's just stuck in the same spot. I imagine this could be exacerbated if you don't have the tripod completely level because at some point in the rotation, the spray head would encounter additional resistance trying to spin at a slight upward angle.

Buy these
These work. They cover a huge area, are easy to adjust, and are the right price. They fold up real nice when you want to store them. Very happy with this purchase

Well Made Spriinklers
Heavy Aluminum legs prevent the sprinkler from being knocked over by water pressure and wind. All three legs are adjustable for uneven ground to get a good spray pattern. It is easy to change the width of the spray pattern with 2 rotating ring clips under the nozzle. You can also change the stream reach by adjusting a flat metal deflector at the end of the stream port. Nice green colored legs so they don't look tacky sitting out in the yard. They work great.

Good but needs more height
Good sprinkler, it needs to be about 12 inches taller to cover more ground

Works great as a tripod and the sprinkler head is also quality
Works great as a tripod and the sprinkler head is also quality. Just make sure you extend and spread the tripod legs all the way out so you have a low enough center of gravity that the tripod doesn't tip over from the force of water flow (learned the hard way). Easy to adjust everything and the distance and adjustability is quality. I bought this after giving up on a set of 10 cheap plastic stick int he ground devices that are worthless. Reliability of a product (and people) is somewhat of a luxury these days so don't cheap-out, just but this, set it up, put it on your timer and let it work.
