This is the product needed to hook up two external monitors to a low end laptop. The USB-C ports on these entry level computers are often data only and do not support video. This product and its drivers allows video to be transmitted. It was an instant setup and performances fine with office software.

It works as described and is very easy to set up. It is compatible with all computers. I have been using this for the past six months, and I do not have any problems so far.

The item works exactly as it should, but for some reason one of my monitors starts blinking in and out when I'm using it. Maybe the monitors have to be the same brand. One is a Samsung (the one blinking out) and the other is an Alienware. The one blinking out is not necessarily a gaming monitor. So that is probably what the problem is. So, I give it 5 stars because it works amazing and I assume the problem is with my monitor.

Works well overall. The picture quality was not as nice as my anker, so I opted not to use for my everyday, because the difference was noticeable. However it was not enough to send back and I will be able to use a backup. It seems to be quite durable. It's is about the same width and length as my anker, but is thicker. Again, solid product, it is always great to have more than one cord, plus, adapter or "dongle."

Worked just as advertised.

I had purchased two other HDMI adapters for my MacBook Pro that didn't work. The drivers I installed didn't work. The monitor was not recognizing the other adapters. The first adapter was a cheap crap one and had poor installation directions. The second adapter was from a legit brand/maker, but it still did not work. So, with frustration, I looked for another adapter for the third time. I came across this Wavlink adapter and it was also on sale, so I figured I would give it a shot. Honestly, the timing could not have been better since this adapter was not on sale the first time I came across it (which is why I bought the other adapters), but now was able to buy this adapter at a 44% discount thanks to the other two adapters not working and me searching Amazon again and coming across this Wavlink adapter again. The installation was very easy. The website looked professional (which I can't say that for the first adapter's website) . Installing the driver was very easy. I plugged the adapter into my Macbook and attached the HDMI cable to the 2k port of the adapter and "presto" it worked !!! I am very happy I finally found an adapter that works with my MacBook Pro mid-2012 running OS Catalina (10.15).

I have purchased and returned 3 of these so far. I use it to connect 2 monitors to my Lenovo laptop that I use for trading. I agree with one of the customers here who wrote that time to time screens blacks out for a few seconds then flash back which is terrible when I m in a middle of a trade and I need to execute. One of these items I purchased for the same purpose when I m working in another country that I only visit once or twice a year. This time was more than a year ago when I visited and as I turned my laptop on and connect everything the monitors did not receive the connection. This adapter was not even used for a whole year, it was just sitting next to my monitors. How is that? It was working before and not it does not. I m not a review writer and usually don’t care to write reviews but this really making me upset bc I can’t do my work and I thought my office is working properly. Now I have to figure out where to get it from and it is going to take many days to be delivered bc this is not US where I m staying for a few weeks. As I said I have returned and purchased this item 3 times already having faith that it is just a lemon. Now I can’t return it bc it has been more than a year ago so I m stuck with an item that no longer works and technically a garbage. Therefore I DO NOT SUGGEST TO BUT THIS PRODUCT!

It works so great, I’m connecting a iMac m3 to two LG 4K screens. It worked initially with Sequoia and then updated to Tahoe and also worked great. Just make sure you install the latest version of the driver.

Heel tevreden. Bij dergelijke toestelletjes is het altijd af te wachten of en hoe het werkt. Maar in dit geval werkten de 2 extra HDMI monitoren via de USB 3 aansluiting van mijn Acer Aspire 3 laptop perfect . De installatie van de noodzakelijke extra driver verliep vlot. Het toestelletje is ook degelijk gebouwd en mooi verpakt.
