Larger than expected, but get the job done.
I have a 20 year old car and the hood likes to surprise me once in a while by giving me a little smack on the noggin when I'm least expecting it. This installs quickly on one side (no need to use both) and keeps the hood up just fine. I can keep it in the glove box for quick use. They are pretty beefy, not sure they needed to be this big, but I'm not running around with it in my pocket so I'm not sure it matters. They could easily hold up a hummer hood or probably a semi for that matter.
