I got this for my oled switch because I love the screen but the joycons are so small and very uncomfortable to hold for long sessions. I’m happy to report that this is awesome! The build quality is impressive. The joysticks have almost no dead zone thanks to the hall-effect sticks. Everything setup seamlessly and fast. It’s very comfortable and feels great in your hands. My only complaint would be that it charges separately but they provide a split usb type c so it’s fine. Great controller! I highly recommend it! It makes my switch look like a new high end portable pc. Love it! Going to buy another for my son.

Awesome product all the way around. Sturdy well built. The controls are responsive, with no drift. Battery life is great. Easy to sync to my Nintendo. The lights around the thumb sticks are bright and vivid with plenty of different settings to choose from. Great purchase at the price I got it for. Technically it’s a wireless controller on the standard NS. I don’t think even on the oled NS it connects via the side rails. It still would connect via Bluetooth which is dope cus it can be used as an additional controller when the console is docked and being played on a TV. I paid $30 for this and I’m happier than a fly eating dog poop.

its pretty high quality for the price! the battery lasts a decent amount of time. the buttons are like an xbox controller and arent small like joycons are. it connects via bluetooth so your console doesnt brick. its nice!

I ordered this controller for my gamer daughter, here are her thoughts: The controller works well so far, but it's only been in use for about a week, so I can't speak to long-term lifespan. But it's easy to use, the instructions are clear and it started working right away with no argument. The buttons feel a little different from original hardware, but they're responsive and seem to work well. The light effects around the controls sticks are nice, but they were more of a bonus that I probably won't use much. The only thing I'm concerned about is that while I do like that the controller came with a split charger cable, but I've had a little bit of trouble getting it to plug into the Switch itself. It plugs into the controller fine with a little effort, but it strangely feels like it's too big to fit in the USB-C port on the Switch. This isn't huge deal since I have other cables, and maybe I'm being too gentle with it out of caution, but that was the one notable problem I've had in the short time I've been using the controller. Still, as long as it continues to work well, I would hope to never *have* to buy another one and that this one will last, but *so far* I would say I recommend it as an alternative to the much pricier Official controllers if you're looking for a replacement for playing in hand-held mode.

Pretty great! The manual has a decent enough guide to set things up, there are buttons to change the lights and to program inputs in sequence. Not super heavy, I usually use this to play while lying back or on my side and it has enough heft that it can take the weight of my arm in the air so that never gets tired. All the buttons feel pretty good to press too the joysticks are solid and I haven't noticed any issues over about 100 hours use. There is a USB 3.0 to split USB-C wire included, so you can charge both the Switch and the controller's battery at once. Turning the system on with the same button you use to turn the controller on is pretty satisfying. There's also ventilation space behind the system on the back and locks at the top on the back so the Switch never wiggles or feels loose. This backbone is user friendly and works exactly as intended. The overall functionality is solid, and setup and pairing are simple. Connectivity has been stable with no issues during use. The customizable buttons add a lot to gameplay, and because of that this is now the only way my son plays his Switch in handheld mode for single player games. It does feel bulkier and heavier than Joy Cons or a Switch Lite, and the added weight can be noticeable during longer play sessions. There is no noticeable lag, and the product feels sturdy. For the price, it offers good value for money, especially if customization or handheld play are priorities. Overall, this is a great option if you want more control options, as long as you are okay with the extra size and weight (which we are!)

Great controller for the money definitely makes playing easier. Haven’t experienced any lag. functionality very well battery seems last really well. highly recommend this wireless controller great product for gaming experience.

Works amazing, isn’t too big or bulky. and helps when your joycons have trouble staying connected to your switch. super happy with this purchase. i have always had issues where my joycons were getting disconnected mid game and was super annoying to pair. this is great because its not connected via the main screen it’s connected by bluetooth. love the little lights and how easy it is to pair. also comes with charger for the controller although its the same as your switch uses. great purchase!!!

Highly recommend and well worth it! After our family switch has been relegated to the 5-year old to play Mario Wonder, this controller has made it the belle of the ball. My other kids have now been revisiting Zelda and Pokemon games that they didn’t complete. This makes the switch feel like a Steamdeck! Very solid grips which are comfortable and not cramped like the joycons, and best of all because the switch locks in place the joycons don’t constantly slip out and disconnect while playing. The battery life seems to outlast the console so no issues there. It comes with a charger with a Y connector to charge both switch and controller at the same time. The only downside is the turbo buttons which 3rd party controller manufacturers always seem to add in for no good reason. Though not annoying enough to lose a star rating, it would be nice to permanently disable them so the kids don’t accidentally hit them as they are on the back of the grip and can be pressed without meaning to.

Update. The seller saw my review and initiated contact. They sent me a replacement immediately and so far it’s working well. Fingers crossed! December. Broke less than 2 months in. My son is devastated. September.
