Oregon Chai Original Dry Chai Latte Mix, 8 Count (Pack of 4)

So I get this mostly as a gift for a friend who isn't always really mobile and doesn't want 12 square containers of pre-mixed ready to drink chai sitting in their pantty. This chai mix is a great solution to his storage problem. He does LOVE chai and is a bit of a snob. I have tried other brands of bagged chai and though they are mostly delicious, they are not for me terrifically convenient if I am in a rush or I'm planning on making iced chai. This stuff is perfect. I can add a small amount of hot water to a container and make as strong (or not) chai as I want and then add the ice (big cubes or crushed or not) and then whatever additives I want (milk, non-dairy milk, chocolate, etc) My friend that I buy this for makes a protein shake in the am and this is what he uses for flavor. I've also taken then when I travel. For some strange reason I have a hard time finding this in lots of stores or often it is out of stock. Not sure the reason but thankfully I can get it off Amazon when I need it and have not had any issues in terms of shipping or product spoilage or anything negative.

Oregon Chia Tea powder mix. BEST mix I've found. Combination of the chia tea & sugar. Love this mix in the afternoon for a sweet pick-me-up. Stir really well into ice, cold water & part milk for a smooth creamy drink. I top it off with cold foam and sweet cherry syrup mixed together. We use those insulated metal tumbler's, to really get it nice & cold. I prefer this mix b/c I don't have to refrigerate it. I buy the 3 lb. bag for the best deal of the product.

I have tried different products with minimal luck. The good ones were liquid. After reading the reviews, I tried this one. The kavir is perfect. It's a powder, so you can adjust the flavor to your taste. No need to add sugar, just add boiling water or even warm milk. It dissolves easily and the price is good. I thought it would be a larger container, but the oz are the same as other products I've purchased. I am going to order more.

My household goes through two 3 lbs bags of this each week. My brother complains that it is making him fat. I apologized sincerely to him for forcing him to use it all up repeatedly. I like it with my 4 am coffee. It's hardly worth getting up and going to work if we're out of this and/or milk.

I really liked this mix. Hot or cold. I was thinking of putting it on subscription until the price for what I was ordering increased to over $3.00 for the same item. Not sure now if I want to repurchase.

this chai, has a smooth, soothing flavor withgentle on my stomach. Its gentle but robust enough to jumpstart your day instead of a cup of coffee. For me that means alot because can't have coffee because it inflames my acid reflux. There individually wrapped, so no measuring, no adding to the chai required u less you prefer to.

my library has free hot water and this tastes great. The Swiss miss of chai.

Has a strange “plastic” aftertaste. Not very creamy like you would expect a latte to be. If you’re looking for a chai with similar ingredients and macros search for “large locomotive” brand chai.P.S. Recipe for a dirty iced chai latte at home: Make espresso using dark regular ground coffee a “3 cup Moka Pot” (≈$15 bucks on Amazon find instructions for using it on YouTube). Once the espresso is done, pour it into a heat safe glass like a mason jar and scoop the recommended serving of the chai latte of your choice in. Stir with a milk frother or spoon. You can also use unsweetened dissolvable chai add your own sweetener, honey goes very well with this. Pour over ice in a 24oz tumbler and fill the rest with milk or milk alternative of your choice.
